By the way, with regard to your excitement in quoting 1 Thess 4:17, the word "remain" there is the Greek "perleipomai". It doesn't just mean "wait". It has the added meaning of "surviving". Do you know what it means to "survive"? It means to get past the threat of death. The word "meet" is "apantesis". It was used to denote villagers going out of their city gates to welcome a highly esteemed visitor, and bring him/her the rest of the way to their city. Now, are you royalty or is the Lord?

He only told us of one resurrection of all believers (John 6:39,40). He told us that He was coming back with His angels at His second coming (Matthew 25:31). I'll listen to Him. You keep listening to Perry Stone and Chuck Missler.

1)The Lord said that there is only one resurrection of all believers "at the last day" (John 6:39,40) Paul reiterated this in 1 Cor 15:22-24. Peter reiterated it in 1 Peter 1:7. John reiterated it in Revelation 20:4.

2)Nowhere does Scripture say that the Lord takes us to Heaven after we meet Him in the air (not John 14:1-3; not 1 Thess 4; not Revelation 4:1; nowhere).

3)The Lord only says that He returns with His angels at His second coming (Matthew 25:31). Paul reiterates that in 2 Thess 1:7

Man this rapture teaching is good. I've watched it twice and will probably watch again. I used to be a post trib believer but now I've changed to pre trib because of the vids. I feel greater rest knowing and understanding the real truth of Gods word. Jesus is NOT an abusive husband. The bride shall NOT be subject to the wrath of God. I love how Chuck breaks everything down to real simple and literal terms.

@gather1stthetares Praise the Lord!! So many people take 2 or 3 verses from the Bible to defend their position. The Rapture is indeed pre-trib, but it will suprise all of the post-tribers when it happens. They will still be saved & in the Rapture whether they want to be or not. I'm so glad Chuck's video has helped you. When I was a post-triber, I kept asking, "But, why is God going to punish those who believe, put their trust & faith in Him." Reading the Bible, through & through helped me.

I remembered I had read something about a Promise to the Over comers in Rev 2:26-27

chuck failed to mention the apparent problems with the rapture doctrine. like the fact that with the pre-trib model there are 3 resurrections. 1 before trib. 2. after trib. 3. after the millenium. the bible only counts TWO! The first resurrection occurs after the tribulation, not before it (rev. 20:5-6). in acts 1 jesus ascends to heaven in the sight of his disciples. the angels there said he would return in like manner. not invisibly like the rapture doctrine teaches. never does it say.........

in i thess. 4:13 & 1 cor. 15:50-55 that the events described would occur before the great tribulation. so he's adding information to the text. that's forbidden. the thessalonican believers were already going through great tribulation, as the epistle makes it very clear. so why would paul be telling them that they would be wisked away into heaven before great tribulation begins under these adverse circumstances? that would be crazy! however, everything he said about jesus is 100 % true.

1. If we are not appointed to wrath....what happens to the people who become Christians During the Tribulation? Won't they go thru this wrath at that time?

2. The dead in Christ rise first then we who are alive. This is the LAST Trump which is at the End of the great tribulation.

3. Who is left to help the world evangalize to become Christians in the trib period?

Yes, He will come back for us: the dead in Christ will be raised from the dead first, then We who are still Alive will be caught up at the Last Trump which is at the End of the Great Trib. Then the last 1000 years will occur with His followers Tabernacling with Him (final Feast s of the Lord in Lev 23) The Rapture occurs at the Last Trump. There is no secret return prior to this.
