i actually met maurice clarett back in highschool. my highschool football team travelled to ohio to face his team. being from canada i was amazed at the beautiful stadium, 250 piece band etc. (our "stadium" consisted of an outdoor field and some park benches)...anyways, my tour guide for the day introduced me to maurice while he was getting taped up...he said something completely incoherent that i couldn't for the life of me understand.

i actually met maurice clarett back in highschool. my highschool football team travelled to ohio to face his team. being from canada i was amazed at the beautiful stadium, 250 piece band etc. (our "stadium" consisted of an outdoor field and some park benches)...anyways, my tour guide for the day introduced me to maurice while he was getting taped up...he said something completely incoherent that i couldn't for the life of me understand.
point of my story is...this doesn't surprise me.

When Clarret first came to OSU he changed for the better but after OSU won the title later on that year, he went back to his old self. he really could have been something special.

Oh man, what a shame. I saw him play his first game against Texas Tech, and new he was a star. He's one of the best backs to play in NCAA, and it's a shame he turned out to be such a schmuck.

Such a sad story. I actually met him once. He seemed like a very nice kid at the time. The funny thing is that there are still people at Ohio State that would do anything they could for him. Jim Tressel is one of those people.
