That painting - isn't that the famous "Approach of the New World" which everyone thought was on the Titanic?
Also, I beg to differ with whoever said that Olympic had an "unblemished" safety record. It collided with a ship in 1911 and with a lighthouse in the 1930s (killing people). Not unblemished by a long shot.
@kellyadmirer1 Not everyone. Walter Lord, historian, said "Approach to the New World" was above the smoking room's fireplace, because that's the painting he saw when he travelled on board Olympic. But he was wrong. On board Titanic, the painting showed Plymouth Harbour. It was made by Norman Wilkinson.
How the...who the...hu!? I never thought I'd see motin pictures of the Titanic or Olympic's interior. The brief bit showing people going down the Grand Staircase was a bit of a shocking suprise!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VIDEO!!! I consider this footage to be among the best I have seen from that period! It is almost as if watching archived footage of Titanic! It is just incredible!
I'm surprised these guys would still sail on Titanic's Twin Sister...One would think that they wouldn't trust ANYTHING from the White Star, especially The Olympic, after what happened to Titanic, and Brittanic, no?
Well, maybe they couldn't help avoid the will of embarking on a ship almost identical to Titanic. I think Titanic and Olympic were so beatufil that ones would like to travel on it.
I guess that's truth...a really pretty ship, but...I'd still be skeptical before sailing on it. Might have given in for Titanic 8 years before, though XD
The Olympic was given an extensive refit post Titanic which including a complete double hull, (not just double bottom as before), and higher water tight bulkheads, also life boats for aboard were provided. The Olympic had an unblemished safety record, survived a collision or two, and was known as "Old Reliable."

or the traffic?
craggon13 4 years ago
It's the Traffic, you can tell as her promenade deck is open. You can go see the Nomadic in Belfast now.

I'm not sure how I feel about the last song "For those in Peril On the Sea". Did you add the music yourself or did it come with the film?
BCraven040 4 years ago
c'est exellent ! je crois que je l'avait déja vu quand j'avai 12 ans .

Is the song at the end called "For Those In Peril On The Sea?" I think I remember listening to it in the "Titanic" movie.
