  • Wow looks different when its not covered in ice, and its snowing so bad you cant see 20 ft in front of you, fuck I hate that drive

  • Yeah first time I hit that one It was midnight, half blizzard and foggy, and i had a big load on heading north, and that first curve fooled me but i made er and was good for next time. I am 19 but love driving.

  • To the right when your going back up the hill. That wall to the right always crumbled down onto the road i remember when that happend back in 2005 2006.

  • @Elva89 Yup im allways carefull to watch the road for debris

  • cant wait to move back there.

  • You people should of see the old road across there. trucks would be there backed up for days . Caulse no one would carrie chains . It can snow 12 months of the year. But when you come into BC and they say carrie chains. They mean it. yee haa good day.

  • This is the hill that I just about made my maker in 2000. Lost air half way down with a 14 ft wide load on my double drop. It was raining sooo hard that I didnt even see it coming. The worst part was the curve at the end and I met a car on the bridge. 79 plus mph at the bottom. Needless to say, I stopped at Buckinghorse for the night, and a change of shorts)jk

  • sorry typo MET my maker!

  • I know its a nasty hill.. one time heading iorth it was a controled slide down for me.. I should have waited till the sanders had come by but the rig was waiting on the pipe

  • There's a familiar sight, heading for home! Running north that first corner sneaks up on you if you aren't ready for it, eh? If you had no idea it could land you in some big trouble real quick. Cool vid, I miss running north.

  • dry???that's a rare sight...oh by the way that hill's been renamed to SLIPERY CHIEF....when pulling trains anyways...

  • I've heard it called worse

  • Thats a good video Royal. I have been there many times, while surveying for oil exploration. Up the river a few km's from the bridge is an amazing waterfall. When I was there in 84', there wasn't even a trail to it, but a ranger told me they were to put in a day site there for hikers. The access road was 'near' where your video ends.

  • It may be hard driving but DAM it's impressive to look at!! Stay safe out there bro! 5 stars

  • in the early 80s was tough with a 290 pulling steam boat and trutch actally didnt even think of sikanni you ever been up to norman wells
