  • I could not do jumping jacks as a kid (at least not until 11). Then entire class would stop turn around just to laugh at me.

  • Billy Sue - you don't get it. The boy is far more athletic and explosive at the end. And his foot-eye coordination is much improved.  The exercise done properly involves explosive little 1 legged jumps, training the leg muscles to contract and then explode.

  • The cerebellum and pre-frontal cortex must work together for good proprioception. Very specific exercises are used to train the brain body mechanism to increase activity. We have trained numerous children and athletes and some take many weeks to improve. This young man improved after two hours of training.

  • what is the vid supposed to be showing.Anyone,child or adult will improve after practising a specific task as has happened here.Are we improving some measure of general coordination here?I'm not too sure .Also,what does the author mean by dimensional skills,its very vague.
