Thank you soo much for uploading this! I owned this album on vinyl when I was a kid, but I'm appreciating it on a whole new level as an adult; I never realised the quality of the songs was so good! :-)
And I know, by the way they are doing a new series in wich pat goes in a submarine and travvells back to deliver King Arthur a letter. They have cut out all old charcters and put badies and mancahics in it....Just joking hahh. Thanks for uploading this!
aww, I used to listen to the "jess the cat" song when i was little, in my grandads car, lol i must of listened to It alot as I still remember some of the lyrics =D
I used to have a Postman Pat audio cassette including the stories "Postman Pat on The Run" and "Pat Bakes a Cake" with the extended version of the theme song at the start and end of the cassette.
ok, can someone help me please? when i was a very little girl, there was a postman pat tape where Pat, Sara and Julian went on holiday, Audio Book. All i remember about it is it was raining when they set off and they had to go on a train to get to the seaside or something. Is that audio uploaded or does anyone know the one i mean?
Bear in mind i was a little girl and now almost 28 so i dont remember ALL the details
Oh my! Used to have this cassette, I think my parents might have thrown it out after having to listen to it many many times. For some reason I actually have an Mp3 of a really clear version of Travelling Music, I have no idea where it came from either!
hello thats very nice have you looked at my films they got some music if your intrested oh one thing im making some film and its got some mini band i'll put them on soon from thenewstoryteller.
I forgot to say! It's a Kenwood cassette deck KX1010, and the best part of it was it was free, out of a skip ;-) Also can be seen in my video 'Look around my VT room of 1970~90s machines'.
Many many thanks for uploading this - the Travelling Music is now on my iPod - a classic! Such a shame that 'Jess the Cat' isn't the great upbeat version you hear in the episode though! :-(
I used to have a red cassette with all of these songs on it, except for the travelling music. It came from the school book club I think. Out of interest, the travelling music seems very familiar, where was it used in the program? As he was travelling around the valley (silly question)?
i love the old original postman pat brand it brings me back memories of listening to that audio cassette and other children's episodes like teletubbies, fireman sam, pingu, noddy and others when i was little :D
My dad recorded the theme song off of a single onto a BASF LH-60 at the end of a Goon Show, it's really cool song. I should post the copy I have. Thanks a lot for posting some good old childhood entertainment. I remember I used to have a Postman Pat book when I was little...
I have this on LP ;p

I had this cassette too. I've been looking everywhere for it! Does anyone have it?
I remember that Pat went to Brighton and Pat trained a replacement.
It ended with Jess stuck up a tree. I can even remember the music.
Does anyone even remember what this was called?
