I am stunned. I was led to believe the rattlesnake had the quickest reflex of any creature. I watched a rattler at a reptile park strike an inflated balloon and pop it so fast I barely saw the movement of the snake. It was almost invisibly fast. I suspect the bobcat killed it out of a sense of preservation. They both eat the same rodents. And the snake might kill bobcat kittens.
