I just stumbled across this video today, how very heartwarming! I'm so sorry to hear of Ron's passing, but I'm so happy his dream of meeting Mr.Everett came true. I also watched Medical Center as a child, and was a huge fan of Dr. Joe Gannon. Now Ron is one of those angels Chad spoke of. God bless! :)

I wish they would put the WHOLE series on DVD ...I couldn't wait to see Medical Center as a kid. Chad was not only sexy but he truly had a compassion that gripped you. Such a chrasmatic man ..the series truly makes me think of being at home when both my parents were living.

This is so sweet! I miss seeing Chad in movies and on TV. He is still as handsome as ever.  I purchased a movie back in the 80's (paid $50 for it) called "Johnny Tiger". It was a low budget B movie but Chad is so SEXY in it, he plays a rebellious young Indian guy, several scenes with no shirt and he dirty dances in it also. I love you Chad Everett ..... you still rock! This video was very touching, it was very nice of you to go meet your number one fan, Ron Simonsen!

Just found out about this video. Very touching. I haven't seen much of Chad on TV anymore. Saw him on the Jerry Lewis MDA telethons. So nice to see an actor giving back and to such a special fan. I have a cousin with Cerebral Palsy who is highly intelligent and held down a job for 30 years. So glad to see Chad not being ashamed of being a Christian and following in Jesus steps, being kind and loving and caring to others, especially a sweetheart like Rod. This made me cry too.

I met Chad Everett back in the 80's when he sponsored Golf Tournaments in Estes Park Colorado. Chad never hesitated to lend his fame, and bring lots of his Hollywood friends along, too. What I found while fly-fishing with he and Wallie, was that he is the genuine article..his prayer is genuine and sincere, his good works are genuine. Chad, if you ever see this, thanks from a country doctor you once met in Estes Park and know that Wallie and Jimmie would be very proud, indeed! God Bless.
