The hemi is not as impressive as what people want it to be...the 5.7 charger in 07 has the EXACT same 0-60 time as the 5.7 07 tundra. And the V6 RAV4 is quicker to 60 than the tundra. Sorry for upset haha.

With all due respect, an oil filter is just a paper element. If the filter clogs, the oil will bypass the filter rather than seize your engine. I change oil every 5000 miles now because the new synthetic oils are way superior to even five years ago. That being said, I wouldn't be too concerned with the severe service since the only way dust can enter your motor would be through the air filter. I would change that more often rather than trying to purchase an extended life oil filter.
My '06 Rav4 did a 14.79 @ 93.75 mph 1/4 mile at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wis. Completely stock in drive with TC still on. The 3.5 is a very strong motor!!!

Many people think that having sythetic or any royal purple oil fitler or k&n makes up for not doing an oil change every 5000 miles at least, dont make your oil changes too far from each other, sythentic help to improve your engine performance but not the oil change.
I read some reviews among the compact SUV class that the 4WD Rav4 V6 has the 2nd fastest 0-60 time in the world right after the Caliber SRT4 which can do it 5.9 sec with a manual. 0-60 in 6.3 seconds for an automatic V6 SUV is pretty damned good!
And in the long run, the V6 in the Rav4 will outlast the turbo I4 in the Caliber anyway. The superior build quality of the Toyota over the Dodge more than makes up for the 0.4 second difference in 0 to 60 tests.
the caliber isn't a compact suv by the way its a compact car and a failure at that. the two are entirely different and the fact that you compared them unfortunately means that you know squat about cars. you can compare the rav to the cr-v, the rouge, the tiguan, the nitro/liberty, the escape or the larger-class santa fe. anyonw who soes their research will find that the rav4 v6 with awd is the quickest, fastest and best handling car in the segment...by far.
