Best thing about the Cajun Waltz is not to see the older people waltz, the young couples rub bellys, it is to watch the children emulate thier elders and dance together.
@afghooey ...mmmm don't think it is mate (its a subjective judgement anyway) nothing wrong with good strong tambre in a voice eg. Doris Day would be crap at singing this.. and look how cleanly she lived.
After listening to my Jo Els CD, I have to agree with you. I guess I should have said I detected a bit of similarity in pitch in the way he bekls it out, though Jo El sounds more relaxed with his voice, but you're right that Jo El is much more refined and articulated as well.
Also wondering if there are still dances at Randols?
