hey, can you giv me some advices on how play frost dk. What are the most used spells,which are most effective spells and what spell should I use if opponent is kites me?

Everyone who was complaining about blood was saying the same thing "cheap" "lame" "stupid" "only noobs who can't play pick it" yet i solo'd 2's with a positive score as blood pre patch, and always got /golfclap's by frosties and ppl making toons on my server to troll blood, i always said the same thing "if it sucks so bad, why are you pissed that it beat you?" "and furthermore, why don't you roll it for the free CP?" keep crying but blood is still op, just not as much damage.
@Fozoid Maybe with the people you fight but since 4.3.2 patch as unholy I can take bloods down that are equally geared. Just have to keep up the Necrotic Strike and let your ghoul/gargoyle do most of the damage while you prevent them from healing.
i seem to get rune starved reeeeeeeaaaly quick so im not sure if my timing is bad or what but i seem to get more dps when i take rime. Do u no why?????
cool vid mate. Whats your view now on HB V.S Oblit. After watching Joeterino's vids I decided to work his math out on resil/armor ect vs 2 f ruins for 1 oblit, vs the damage of 2 HB's for those same 2 ruins, ignoring armor vaue competely. It seems to me HB and going mastery is superior in many cases. I seem to get the numbers to show HB every time. I do however understand with a 2h weap you WILL be using oblit regardless specialy in <35% health situations. Just want to talk to other DK's on it.
i saw on the video that you never used your plague strike,wouldn't obliterate be more efective with 2 debuffs in the target?or is that no good in pvp (short time fights)?
@TheGDogProductions What a rubbish comment... Obliterate is a very good attack in PVP... Which will only be used on Cloth players or 35% hp... AND when you have Killing Machine... So yes you do use it !! Owh and you use it against another DK that have Anti-Magic Shield up... :) Thnx bb
instead of specing into merciless combat and 3 points into bladed armor have 2 into bladed armory and none in merciless and take the 3 points ant put them in rime..
pve is another story because the blood will be keeping things from attacking frost (obviously because blood only tanks in pve) therefore giving the frost dk all the time in the world to deal damage, as opposed to being the auto-target being seen as the lesser and easier to kill of the two. So yes frost is better pve for dps.. but that's like saying cat form is better than bear form for dps..

pve frost is dps,
pve blood is tank,
frost > blood for dps,
that's as obvious as cat > bear for dps...
For pvp, when i posted that, blood was out damaging all frost dps, and frost even with necrotic strike could not 1v1 my blood.
They've since gimped vengeance and frost discovered more dps with howling blast than obliterate due to rune usage, and necrotic strike should now be up 100% of the time
@Fozoid previous patch i would do around 9-10mil in av's without attacking npc, most ppl around 3-5mil, this was with semi turtle. 1v1 any frost i could beat them, unholy without a question. Now i use frost and get around 18mil+ with a 23mil av during a turtle. That's spamming howling blast and frost strike, and anytime i see heals or blood dk i now just necrotic strike them to death.. so if u said forst > blood when i posted, you're stupid, otherwise i meant pre patch so stfu.
@Fozoid i meant previous patch i'd do 9-10mil av as blood, now as blood around 3-4mil from vengeance gimp and rotation change, i don't play blood anymore.

Take equally geared and skilled dk's, one frost one blood against eachother, blood will win 100% of the time... take equally geared and skilled dk's and pin them against a team, the team will always (unless stupid) go after the frost dk and burn him down in moments where the blood will actually have a good chance of surviving AND killing the team. take equally geared and skilled dk's in a bg, the blood will always be above the frost dk, and probably be top damage overall.. BLOOD > frost ...
@Fozoid wrong, obviously you don't know about the recent nerf to blood. Blood no longer gets vengeance from being hit by players, so no more insance damage. Plus everytime i was frost i was always top dps in BG's besides. Now the blood dks got there deserved nerf I equally geared and skilled. Unholy vs Blood. If the unholy knows what he is doing can take down the blood dk like nothing. Its called kiting. and you really need to study up cause you got a long way to go.
@Fozoid well, we have to look at this big argument all together equally, 1st BLOOD, the only reason why you would use blood is for tanking in PvE, and for being gay in pvp, 2nd FROST, if played well can litterally destroy every class. but, the only reason why you would ever play blood is for blood-shield, and no other reason. but Frost has alot more abilites, which can help out alot more! soooooooo other all, frost is the best all-round, with its epic abilites which can destroy you in-seconds.
@xQrezHD the only thing blood is good for in PvP is Flag Carrying like its intended for, people who use it for other reasons are stupid. And when it comes to Frost yea its great, but Unholy can stomp a frost DK any day. Unholy has way more survivability than a frost DK and a lot more utilities at there disposal. Unholy Frenzy + transformed Ghoul + gargoyle + trinket + Racial also comes out to being higher burst than Frost.
for better dps spam howling blast and only use oblit when your enemy is super low health and u want a knock out and for frost strike use that when u got no more runes for unholy blood or frost
I stopped when he said 2H spec is better for PvP... No way, DW is waaaay better and btw, Obliterate is a waste of runes, it's not even on my action bar... Obliterate is good for PvE, not for PvP -.-
@jrcox529 Since I don't really use obliterate anymore there is no need to have both diseases up. If you watch my newer videos you'll see why I don't use obliterate anymore.
@sabio10000 sure thing man, engraved - rune addon, icehud - hp bar addon, extrabars - extra action bars, healershavetodie - points out healers in bg's, tidy plates - nice enemy hp bar addon. quartz - nice casting bar.

@Plut0x No I know dude, This video is an older vid. If you watched my other video's you would know that I now DW. And I hardly ever use OB. Only time i really use it is when the enemy is below 35% and KM is proc'd to finish them off.
@TheSOKOI It's just the standard UI with some addons thrown in. The most obvious one that stands out is called IceHUD its the bars you see beside my character.
This guide isn't right.... obliterate is hardly ever used unless your in a random bg and you find a 0 resil person. the priority is HB for frost runes -> necrotic for unholy/death runes -> frost strike KM procs.
@PlazmahDK I just ran the numbers myself and you're correct, Although Necrotic should only be used on classes who can actually heal or are being healed. But I'm not afraid to admit I'm wrong. I will be uploading a video later that corrects my mistake.
@Kaeraen Yeap, they put them back into the game. You have to go to Outlands and go to Area 52 near the top of the map, and in one of the buildings there is a guy who sells em for like 1500 honor.

Im sorry mate at the start with dual wield NEVER spec into obliberate since u DONT use it NEVER since its sucky. 30k crit Obli = 2 runes / 2 times HB wich ignores armour is 15k so that will be 30k aswell, and it slows the target and so on.
@VeuxGamingHD I'm Sorry to say but even with DW you hit a lot more than just 30k with obliterate I've hit 30k with obliterate with just my MH before, not including my OH's dmg Plus Obliterate is more reliable dmg then Howling Blast because you have to take in consideration that when killing machine procs Its going to crit no matter what Doing well over 30k at least for me. Howling blast on the other hand has nothing to guarantee a critical hit and you don't gem/reforge for crit
@DeFragin I'm very new at DK and i'm still lvling it up, i tried to find something about this but it was not that much info that i could find, but what i found on a forum was that you were supposed to keep diseases up, necrotic spam and only use obliterate if you have a KM proc. I guess they mean this for arena so since it's just random BG's you could change the necrotic's to Howling Blast? And i thought you could use Howling Blast 4 times not 2, so that would be 60k damage?
@DeFragin You have Obliterate -> Frost strike -> HB (HB when no other move is availabe) while alot of ppl say it's better with HB -> Obliterate if KM procs -> Frost strike , why is yours better when you can do HB*4 with 15k each hit instead or Obliterate *2 that might not crit? i might be completely wrong about this but why do you think that Obliterate -> Frost strike -> HB is better? ty :)

@VeuxGamingHD to expand upon this i have what some people consider a random spec, but notable good friends such as Hype and Diziet both support my spec for the main reason that it doesnt use obliterate... The reason that I don't use obliterate is because, unlike you, I use necrotic strike/hb spam over obl... obl takes two runes for one big situational crit, vs. hb and necrotic strike criting the same as obl with a slow and reduced heals... think about it :P
So when do you use necrotic strike vs plague strike? I was just wondering on the proper application. I tend to use necrotic on healers but I'm not really sure when to use plague. I had one other question to you tend to open with outbreak or howling blast?
@crosstalkg33k When it comes to Necrotic Strike vs Plague Strike they are really used for two completely separate reasons. The only time you should use Necrotic Strike is to slow down a healer. And the only time you should use Plague Strike is to apply diseases and to reapply them. If you're diseases are up you have no need to use Plague strike. And you have no need to use Necrotic strike on a target that can't heal. And open with outbreak whenever its off cd diseases up faster.
@Devictur If your talking about putting 2 pts in improved frost presence for 2H you would be way off. Unholy presence is the best for PvP seeing as it gives you increased run speed, rune regeneration, and reduces the global cooldown. And as for the points in Annihilation, Obliterate is you're hardest hitting move spending only 1 pt in it for the 15% dmg bonus and ignoring the 45% dmg bonus by going for a 5% dmg bonus overall with improved frost presence doesn't anywhere near make up for the loss
@AustinpawlHD I do use Necrotic Strike, but when it comes down to a Normal BG's I don't really need it. When I'm doing arena's or RBG's I have 6 keybinds on my extrebars addon. One being Necrotic Strike.

You should really learn something about DKs before making this funny guides where you misinform people. I just point out few:
1. Not taking rime talent is contentious.
2. "you can also use blood tap if you want" so glyph of horn of winter > blood tap ? rofl.
3. Not even having necrotic strike on your bar explains your lack of knowledge (+ clearly shows you are low rated player)
4. entire BG you didn't use dark simulacrum or hungering cold even once...

You shouldnt use Obliterate on plate wearers. Howling Blast hits harder on them and its only really useful on anything other than Plate.

@jrcox529 Since I don't really use obliterate anymore there is no need to have both diseases up. If you watch my newer videos you'll see why I don't use obliterate anymore.

Spam Necrotic Strike instead of obliterate. in yellows dont go pure resil.. go either a 20 str 20 resil. Or what i do is 20 str 20 mastery.

@sabio10000 sure thing man, engraved - rune addon, icehud - hp bar addon, extrabars - extra action bars, healershavetodie - points out healers in bg's, tidy plates - nice enemy hp bar addon. quartz - nice casting bar.

@Plut0x No I know dude, This video is an older vid. If you watched my other video's you would know that I now DW. And I hardly ever use OB. Only time i really use it is when the enemy is below 35% and KM is proc'd to finish them off.

@Plut0x I never said 2H was bad, DW and 2H are extremely close in dmg. It's just DW has a little more burst and 2H has more sustained damage.

This guide isn't right.... obliterate is hardly ever used unless your in a random bg and you find a 0 resil person. the priority is HB for frost runes -> necrotic for unholy/death runes -> frost strike KM procs.

@PlazmahDK I just ran the numbers myself and you're correct, Although Necrotic should only be used on classes who can actually heal or are being healed. But I'm not afraid to admit I'm wrong. I will be uploading a video later that corrects my mistake.

@Kaeraen Yeap, they put them back into the game. You have to go to Outlands and go to Area 52 near the top of the map, and in one of the buildings there is a guy who sells em for like 1500 honor.

@DeFragin By the way. Im kinda torn between going frost spec or blood spec. i saw your blood clip when running as fc. And you said thats the only thing you should do as blood. But after the buff now do you think you can get away with pvp as dps in blood? I see alot of blood out there now in bg's. take care!

Im sorry mate at the start with dual wield NEVER spec into obliberate since u DONT use it NEVER since its sucky. 30k crit Obli = 2 runes / 2 times HB wich ignores armour is 15k so that will be 30k aswell, and it slows the target and so on.

@VeuxGamingHD I'm Sorry to say but even with DW you hit a lot more than just 30k with obliterate I've hit 30k with obliterate with just my MH before, not including my OH's dmg Plus Obliterate is more reliable dmg then Howling Blast because you have to take in consideration that when killing machine procs Its going to crit no matter what Doing well over 30k at least for me. Howling blast on the other hand has nothing to guarantee a critical hit and you don't gem/reforge for crit

@DeFragin I'm very new at DK and i'm still lvling it up, i tried to find something about this but it was not that much info that i could find, but what i found on a forum was that you were supposed to keep diseases up, necrotic spam and only use obliterate if you have a KM proc. I guess they mean this for arena so since it's just random BG's you could change the necrotic's to Howling Blast? And i thought you could use Howling Blast 4 times not 2, so that would be 60k damage?

@DeFragin You have Obliterate -> Frost strike -> HB (HB when no other move is availabe) while alot of ppl say it's better with HB -> Obliterate if KM procs -> Frost strike , why is yours better when you can do HB*4 with 15k each hit instead or Obliterate *2 that might not crit? i might be completely wrong about this but why do you think that Obliterate -> Frost strike -> HB is better? ty :)

@VeuxGamingHD to expand upon this i have what some people consider a random spec, but notable good friends such as Hype and Diziet both support my spec for the main reason that it doesnt use obliterate... The reason that I don't use obliterate is because, unlike you, I use necrotic strike/hb spam over obl... obl takes two runes for one big situational crit, vs. hb and necrotic strike criting the same as obl with a slow and reduced heals... think about it :P

So when do you use necrotic strike vs plague strike? I was just wondering on the proper application. I tend to use necrotic on healers but I'm not really sure when to use plague. I had one other question to you tend to open with outbreak or howling blast?

@crosstalkg33k When it comes to Necrotic Strike vs Plague Strike they are really used for two completely separate reasons. The only time you should use Necrotic Strike is to slow down a healer. And the only time you should use Plague Strike is to apply diseases and to reapply them. If you're diseases are up you have no need to use Plague strike. And you have no need to use Necrotic strike on a target that can't heal. And open with outbreak whenever its off cd diseases up faster.

@Devictur If your talking about putting 2 pts in improved frost presence for 2H you would be way off. Unholy presence is the best for PvP seeing as it gives you increased run speed, rune regeneration, and reduces the global cooldown. And as for the points in Annihilation, Obliterate is you're hardest hitting move spending only 1 pt in it for the 15% dmg bonus and ignoring the 45% dmg bonus by going for a 5% dmg bonus overall with improved frost presence doesn't anywhere near make up for the loss

@AustinpawlHD I do use Necrotic Strike, but when it comes down to a Normal BG's I don't really need it. When I'm doing arena's or RBG's I have 6 keybinds on my extrebars addon. One being Necrotic Strike.
