@Aussie50 Yep, bench tests can prove a lot, or prove very little as in this case all seemed OK, but not on the engine. The video is narrow because I captured it with an iPhone held vertically.... I then had to rotate the footage so it was the right way up, not sideways. :-)

running coils off a simulated CDI/coil is a bit hit and miss as you found, hope you get it sorted!
