  • It kind of moves like a bird does on the ground.

  • Numbats just extrude coolness. I think secretly every animal wishes he/she were a Numbat, i know i do.

  • Numbats poor Endangered species!!!! BTW They are cool!!!

  • Why the hell does australia have all the coolest animals?

  • Cool! Numbats FTW!

  • Thanks to the stupid bastards who brought foxes here, these amazing and beautiful creatures now only exist in WA.

  • I love marsupials!

  • I am a north American. I know what a Numbat is though.

  • ahh, Numbat- Australia's most under-appreciated (and unknown) Native specialty. Along with the Bandicoot, and Bilby, and Cous-COus, and Quoll, and Golden Possum and so on and so forth.

  • @Treemeadow

    Never heard of Crash Bandicoot?

  • @adrastea99

Yes, but outside of that- so many unknown animals.

  • @Treemeadow I love bandicoots! ^-^

  • This critter rivals the Meerkat on the cute scale.

  • I freakin love meerkats but i just saw a numbat so i dont know....

  • @ TREEMEADOW: I heard years ago the Quoll was being domesticated in hopes of eventually replacing the house cat. Have you heard anything about this?

  • Never saw that anumal before. Looks like an armadillo and a squirrel at the same time ...thanks for postin theonetruepath.

  • As Treemeadow mentioned,AU has some gorgeous mammals. They are seldom seen on nature shows as the naturalists have n\o desire to show anything but the same animals over and over again instead of stepping out of the box and showing off some critters most people have never even heard of.
