Unless anyone lives your life in and under your conditions, they won't have a clue, so why do they even bother to post silly opinions. Some so-called bi-sexuals cannot even decide who or what they really are!!
@mrfreshcal it's been a tough 3 years. this supposedly safe job was snatched away from me in a rather sneaky way, and i was unemployed for almost a year before i was able to find any work at all. i am currently a file clerk. a far cry from where i once was. luckily, i have still found a way to afford SRS. i've also seen significant progress from more than 2 years on estrogen. still need to work on my voice and still need to have a ton of electro done on my face.
I definitely respect you for being yourself. At some point, someone's always gonna have a problem with what you do with yourself, but that's not for them to decide, right? Very positive, for those of us who feel the same as you.
Get a wig & get FFS , I respect whom you are as a TG and all , but it all looks like a prank or something , work on becomming more passable , just my constructive critisims , good luck
thanks for your thoughts. hmmm, funny you would post this without even taking note of video part 4 where you will clearly see progress in the transition, including a wig and make up.... why is it that people only watch the first vid??
and by the way, not everyone is obsessed with passing right away.. getting the journey started was the most important step at this point in time... passing and falling under the radar won't help society come to understand and accept the many issues..
Yes , Thank you I get all that , however I was simply making a point from a appearance based visual aspect & like it or not that is how society functions appearnce & first Impressions are everthing , regaurdless of personal opions of lack of Education their of: I know much about TG issues sorry I will watch the other video , but people will continue to think what ever they think you cannot change that , just must come to terms and Accept youself and what you think not others, Thankx !!!
@JenniferPoco Go, Jenn!! I had a similar experience: a few years ago I decided to go to work wearing a bra & my D cup breast enhancers and not hide them at all. It helped that it was Halloween morning, but, outside of one or two odd looks, nobody said or did anything out of the ordinary! Like you, I, too, prefer not to wear men's clothes, but, at 6' 9", it's hard enough finding those than women's clothes! Also, sort of like you, I can't understand why I just can't be a guy with tits & a skirt!
@JenniferPoco I've been wearing a skirt, leotard and pantyhose or tights when I play drums in my band from 1985 until we broke up in `05 and my fans DEMANDED that I wear them!! To them, it just wasn't a Thin White Line show without my skirt!! Pants are just TOO confining and, besides, women have been dressing like men anytime they like for the past 100 years!! Now it's our turn!!
@LadySierraSays Yeah and voice too. I must say though this person is ballsery then me considering I don't plan to even present at all until I can completely pass.
perhaps you are the one that looks bizarre for making such a comment.. judging ones looks is subjective.. sex and gender are two different things.. and by posing on camera in this way, i am trying to emphasize the dichotomy.. it's not my fault that i couldn't afford facial feminization surgery or hair transplants at this time..
WOW I cant belive what balls.. lol.. I didnt live full time till I could pass as a women in mens clothes and even weeks of facial hair growth (I had to grow it out for electro) damn this ts had guts. i would never do that.
you might wanna check out some of my more recent videos to see the further steps taken with regards to neck up... but back in march 2008, i had to start somewhere..
if you took the time to watch some of my more recent videos, you'd see that a wig has now been added to the presentation.. and for the record, a wig doesn't make or break a woman.. gender identity comes from within.. not from the outter presentation...
I'm disappointed - but not surprised, in constant use of inappropriate pronouns, and what seemed cliched treatment by the piece's producer. I'm trying to be generous and figure maybe this is so new to them, they don't get the offense of using the wrong pronoun. I also tell myself it's only cliche if you've seen it time and again, and maybe for them it was all new and they thought they were being clever. Jennifer, I'm sure this piece inspired someone who never dreamed it was possible. Godspeed.
it was definitely new for these folks. i think some of the flip flopping of gender references to me were done on purpose. gotta consider the fact that they are gearing this clip for an audience for whom likely knows nothing about this. i was back on tv a few weeks ago for part 4 and i have come a long way since then, and all the references to me were feminine. i'll try to get the new one posted soon. this little town has learned alot from me about this!
you gotta start somewhere. transition takes 5 years to complete. your reference to Jennifer as being 'he' shows your clear lack of respect for who she is and what she is doing. do you call all Jennifer's 'he' or just ones that you don't think look feminine enough?
It was late when I posted that comment and I honestly meant no offense. I have great sympathy for people going through sex transition. I guess what struck me was that most people who are transitioning seem to take a lot of trouble to make themselves look like the gender they identify with. Jennifer, I assume that is you? did not seem to be doing that.. You can't help the receding hair but there are good quality wigs, attractive hats and scarves etc.
talking in the 3rd person sometimes comes across better with these issues.
yes, i hear ya on the wig, and i do have one now. wigs and all this other stuff is quite expensive.. i just did another tv interview this week, i'll try to get it posted here soon..
she wouldn't look too bad if she used a bit of makeup and a good wig? I don't she why she does because she doesn't look female at all at the moment...
hey, those vids were shot almost a year ago, very early into transition. check some of the newer vids on the site and you will see a wig, make up etc.. this is a long maturity journey, a work in progress that takes years to materialize...
these news folks really seemed to struggle with pronouns. that was the only thing about the story that i found upsetting and disrespectful. then again, i think they deliberately switched back and forth to emphasize the challenges society has with the matter..
Yes I found the way they talked about you including h the pronouns really rude and offensive. But it is an uplifting story, and it shows societal progress that they will even try to talk about transgender people at all. Congratulations on being brave enough (back then) to take that first step of not only coming out, but going on television to talk about it as well! I am sure you will help many people by doing so :)
i do not understand if you are dressing in womens clothing why not act the part. women does not come out like that. honey this saying goes along way " if you want people to take you serious you must be serious". they are not calling you he because of disrespect it is how you presenting yourself. jennifer i ask please dont confuse the world. if your a draq queen say it. dont say your ts and your cd or dg. god bless america
see, you are exactly the problem. you folks think there is only one "right way" for women to act, look, feel etc.. you folks should try to be a little more tolerant and accepting and understanding that every human being is going to have unique qualities, personalities, etc. transition is a work in progress. without access to HRT, SRS, FFS, etc, there are only so many things i can do.
i think our mannerisms change on a daily basis. sometimes we can be really soft and sweet, while on other times, we can all be really bitchy and aggressive.. i don't think these behaviours have anything to do with masculinity vs femininity.
on the note of presentation, i do actually overdo it with certain womanly things (skirts, high heels, purse) in attempt to distinguish myself as transwoman. this is important to me so i am not perceived as just being a "feminine-man".
You missed the point. Don't act as though some trans men and women never over accentuate our mannerisms in an attempt to achieve our desired results. Jennifer keeps it real and she is all woman.
I'm really happy you are being who you truly are!You have so much inner strength;it's very inspiring to see:)
Don't let anyone get you down and please know that many people support your right to be yourself:)
*MUCH LOVE*

@superCatia your inappropriate use of pronouns clearly shows your disrespect and ignorance to the matter. sex and gender are not one in the same.
