I'm learning the long version, and it sounds better than the rearranged version.

pretty, but definitely has a different feel from the original piece. I almost feel as though the whole song (your version) should start out & be played another octave up so the bass (left hand) isn't such deep, sad, dark notes & would evoke much softer, sweeter feelings... just a tip/request. hehe. This is my 1st fave Beethoven piece, Fur Elise being 2nd.... =)

You shouldn't change the notes at 0:33-0:36 >:( The most beautiful part of the song.
