If I'm not mistaken you calibrate the scale at the center weigt oh the scale. Say it's a 1000g scale you would calibrate it at 500g. If its a 100g scale you would calibrate it at 50g. A scale is most accurate at the center weight and least accurate at each end of the scope like 0g or 1000g on a 1000g scale so most accurate weight would be around 500g or at the center of the range.
@theweedquestioner12 online man. Ive heard you can get some at gas stations though. Also an Archery store might sell one, not like wal-mart, but a hunting store, archers use it to weight stuff. You can get a gram scale at a kitchen goods store, not a pocket most likely. I get it off an auction site that youtube doesnt let me right but it starts with an "e"and ends with a "bay", hope this helps
@manco8000 i got mine from ebay, I recently ordered one from japan and my other one came in from cali for like 12$. Their great scales, accurate to .01grams not just .1. I would recommend buying a precision calibration weight set though. My friends are always comin to me to get these scale, they use them for...probably what ur usin them for and they love them. They come with a cover that has instructions written on it so anyone can calibrate it anywhere and a leather pouch
@GrinyukDenis souns like the calibrations off, when it displays a "weight" when theres nothing on it you gotta calibrate it, if its tripping out no matter what buttons you press or even when You try to calibrate it, it might be broken. I recieved a broken one of these scales once that once you put soimething on the tray it turned off, which meant the tray is broken and then your screwed. As long as it stays on when you put a weight on it theres still hope, just try calibrating it.
the dollar is exactly 1 gram, or 10.1, which is the point I'm trying to make? haha. messed up just a lil bit... what type of gram scale is this? how much did it cost?
@Drran32 that extra .1 (not 10.1, must have been a typo) on that dallor was because dollar bills have residue on it, like finger oit and actually a surprising amount of dollar bills have drug/snot residue on it from people rolling in up and snorting something with it.. (i read that in a magazine once).
