The dialogue and storylines were so much better in the first 2 or 3 seasons. After that, it became all shoulder pads, hairspray and catfights — all good fun, of course — but not as character-driven which is the hallmark of a good soap opera.
Why did Alexis wait so long before giving Steven his present? It's clear she had been at his place for a while, yet he acted so coy when she handed it to him. Surely he would have seen the package and queried it on her arrival.
Way to go Fallon! You are 100% right about Krystle. She did think that Alexis was right & it does make a huge difference about whether or not a spouse supports the other in a situation like this. Everyone notices when any high profile people don't have their spouse around-esp. when Charles & Diana were married, when Diana wasn't around you knew she was mad at Charles. The first thing the press always did when they were together was to see if Diana was there.
