  • hi. great video. may i just ask which underwater case you used for the S95? im gonna be diving at Raja Ampat and hoping to take some underwater photos/videos.

  • hi, awesome video! Just wondering - what program/how did you do the intro effects with the bubbling water etc.? Cheers!

  • The program used for edit and all effects is Final cut pro, in this program are some fx video filters that include water and I used it and put some text over it.

  • good video

  • There is definitely no artificial light used in this video. It is a nicely done video with good color for a point and shoot without artificial light. You can tell the diver used auto white balance. As he said anything white can be used to read the effect of the blue water on a white surface. A plastic white card works well because you can carry it with you on the dive and make adjustments at different depths as the light changes with depth.

  • very nice video ... i use exactly the same gear and works very nice w/out light source - only new WB on depth/position change ... hope You make some more as nice videos :))

  • I'm interested in an underwater camera for my dives, came here to watch the video and i must say..... great work !!!.

loved the clip and i'm thinking of getting the same camera..., (trying to decide between ths s95 and g12).

BTW, based on the pink top when visible, i assume indeed no additional light source as the pink suggests an extreme white-balance setting was used...

  • Hi all just to give some info on the kit used, there where no light or flash used only the natural light and no filters were used at all, there were the underwater housing from Ikelite and the super wide-angle conversion lens in front of the lens of the housing.I used a wight plastic board to take WB at different depth.

    Takk Gretar

  • @gretargretarsson . you used a wight plastic board!?!? could you please be more specific? btw, great video!!

    Takk Valty

  • Hi all, yes the plastic board is about 25cm x 19cm and are some time called sled, same as you use for writing underwater message to felo divers. We had it in the pocket of the bcd and regularly took WB, but it was best to let my buddy have it so you don't have to do to mud's at the short time you have underwater and can focus on filming.

  • @Valtyful - i see.. thanks for the info..

  • nice work

  • Amazing video great job.

  • I love this video!! I wonder... what kind of filter and light source did you use to shoot this. Did you use a red filter of the "underwater" color setting of the camera. Also, did you use any light?? Sorry to bother but I bought this camera a month ago and Im planing to go diving with it. Thanks a lot!!! great work!!

  • @harrygarcia72

im pretty sure that hes using an external light/flash...

  • @leitschkopf

Wher do you see any evidence that he used an external light source? I don't think so myself
