Hi,I am RT form thailand,in my country is Bsc. degree(4 year).when you have RT's licens you can perform all modalities and all field(Diagnostic,Nuclear med,Radio therapy) in thailand.RT is easy to get a job more than orthers .This time is such a the golden age of Medical imaging.Besides working in RT,you also works in medical health care companies,GE,Siemens,Phinlips and so on.
dose anyone know a good Radiology program in Canada with a high school degree ?? or do i need to get to Med school first ? and what are the levels of Radiology studies starting from after high school !?!?
@withoutlover911 McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario) offers a Degree Program Called "Medical Radiation Sciences", You apply right after High school. Its a 4 year program. Check out the McMaster website for more info.
I'm going into the program this September and know a few friends already in their upper years. If you need more info, PM me.
@browntechguys Thanks for the info But i found this great program here close by where I live in Dubai, UAE. at University of Sharjah. A program called "Medical Diagnostic Imaging". Finished my first semester and now I'm waiting for the final grades! :)
i'm 24 years old and i would love to get into this career, but the courses for it at my school say it's a competative course to get into. I mean, it's a good frield but they don't let a lot of people into it. Is there another way? I would dedicate my life for to oppurtinity for it and don't want my finacial aid wasted on anything else but this. This video makes it look likes it's so easy to join, they left out the part how it's hard course to get into because it fills so fast. waiting period.
Don't let statements of "oh it's really competitive" deter you, try hard to Ace your pre-requisites, and if you don't get accepted...apply again. Right now, I'm looking for a job to help me pay off my pre-reqs for radiography.
RT is the bst one if you are licens it essy to fine a job
