I thoroughly enjoyed the film noir moments. The funniest had to be when we think our hero is going to kiss the girl, only to find he is smelling her hair!However, that also marks the only low point for me. Right after he tries to sneak away, he falls over. She doesn't react. That bothered me. Since they meet at the end, it would've been a nice juxtaposition to go from her thinking he's a loon to being enamored by him simply because of their mutual love for "The Maltese Falcon." Nicely done!
