  • Happy birthday Alina! Dec. 16th

  • This was about what Cheng Fei scored in qualification and that was 2nd after Ponor so I wouldn't say underscored....

  • @bernardmvella I guess when you compare it to Patterson's scores it seems underscored..I mean this routine was very difficult during these olympics..and the artistry was way better than Patterson or Ponor.

  • @LCAmarkymark Ponor and Patterson were overscored on floor (but both were scored correctly on beam IMO) these olympics though. How Ponor qualified higher than Cheng Fei blows my mind (I love her but her floor wasn't THAT good.)

  • @bernardmvella yep I feel the same way..beam was fine but who ever was scoring on floor and vault in Athens was terrible lol...Cheng Fei hands down had the toughest floor routine..followed by Kozich and Pavlova..IMO I think its very hard to intertwine great dynamic variety filled tumbling with wonderful dance..I believe these three at least did better than Ponor and Patterson on floor.

  • @LCAmarkymark Yup, what's ridiculous is they all had at least equally difficult and well executed tumbling, but they all had much better choreo and artistry at the same time. Didn't Alina Kozich score more than Carly and Svetlana in the team final if you took those scores as the AA ones?

  • @bernardmvella Kozich did have a big step on her second tumbling pass..but the difficulty of that pass was far more difficult because its a combination pass and connecting two hard elements..Khorkina and Patterson I feel scored great on floor while Pavlova should have gotten a great score on floor because of her stuck landings, great choreo,.Patterson had not a single bit of great choreo, and she didn't stick all her landings but got a 9.712 to pavs 9.650 so lol..yeah the scoring was crazy.

  • I wish she walked away with a medal on these Olympics :(

  • love this routine so much

  • @Dancing24 I do too lol..can't get enough of it...should have been scored at least a 9.8

  • Was that last pass a 2.5 or 3.5?!

  • Seriously don't know how she can control that 2nd pass! Geez!

  • @spartyutube better than any gymnast today

  • I love her :) she's so fluid and supple...her limbs just bend perfectly...very beautiful to watch

  • Its so crazy that if there was still a Soviet Union they would have dominated...I mean Khorkina, Pavlova, Kozich, Chusovitna, Kavasha...very strong gymnast and Im sure there are some others that I am missing

  • simply love this routine!

  • Controlled, elegant, classy, difficult tumbles and just awesome........if she performed that routine in 2008 she would have a lot more medals in her trophy cabinet at home ;)

  • whats the name of the music?

  • deserves at least 9.7

Viel Erfolg mit diesem System Liebe Youtubers.

  • Why was everyone in Athens doing cat leaps on floor, because now you don't see them anymore. Was is worth more back then?

  • I think the double was a D and the 1.5 was a C, but the FiG wanted to discourage them (probably because they look goofy and require no flexibility). Nowadays the double is a B and the 1.5 is an A so apparently after they were abused so much they didn't want to see them again.

  • She made a mistake in event finals, which was too pity, because with the performance like this, she could have medal!!!

  • was her last pass a 3.5 or a 2.5 twist???

  • 2.5

  • First time I almost cried over a floor routine.

  • no offense and this is just a question..

cried? cuase it was funny or sad?

  • I almost cried because it was so beautiful. I'm not terribly to fond of most choreography on the floor.

  • I read somewhere that Oksana Omelianchik choreographed this and her Euros routine.

  • @HailieNichole1995 yep..you are correct

  • soooooooo elegant !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Very ambitious first pass. I really liked this routine, and though she should have medaled; however she made that big mistake:/ I liked both Ponor and Sofronie, but I felt like Dos Santos, Kozich, Cheng Fei and Anna Pavolova had a bit more difficulty. Moreno I liked as well, though

  • under scored.

  • I think she looks like a very nice girl... always smiling and waving...clearly just enjoying herself... brilliant...

  • wats her music?

  • What was her star value (SV)?

  • 10.0!

  • wats her music

  • i love it. i wish were the routine she performed in event finals though.

  • I agree.

This routine was a stand-out of those games IMO. The choice of music and choreography were excellent, and the tumbling was fantastic too.

  • I couldn't agree more... she deserved a medal for this routine, maybe even a gold.

  • I share your opinion, but unfortunately she fell. That's why I uploaded this performance, not the EF.

  • lol yeah, I'd like to pretend the FX EF never happened. The podium was so anti-climatic... Ponor was over-scored, Sofronie was clearly not one of the top floor workers, and WTF's up with Moreno???

I thought Cheng Fei and Kate Richardson should have both placed higher than they did.
