I find that REALLY hard to believe Lydia, the lowest an XD will go for with around 11,000 miles is around 14-15 grand.

You'll get used to the Speedometer, I'm 16 and I just got the xD as my first vehicle and because I haven't really driven another car (Besides my parents), I've been able to get used to the weird speedometer. The speedometer isn't even bad though, just different from most vehicles.

I got great milege on our Scion xD. I'm normally used to driving my Honda Civic, which has a terrible blind spot. The Scion xD does have the steering wheel controls for the radio/ipod, which makes it easier. I found the Scion to be more high off the ground, so I can actually look through truck's windows, so i can pull out of the parking space if their next to me.

Its the speedomete, and tachometer, not just the odometer. It also has a trip computer for fuel mileage, miles left to go on the present tank of fuel. It also has 160watts of power for the stereo which is Pioneer. The drivetrain is the same as the new standard 09 Corolla. Fuel mileage and performance is actually higher than the Corolla, since its a lighter car. But uhm....

my cousin is buying this car next week. i went to test drive with here and i also drove it around the block...i was surprised how i just touched the gas pedal and the car lurches forward...car feels very light and accelerates pretty good. how is it when getting on the fwy? we didn't get to go on the fwy on our test drive.

It accelerates pretty well on the fwy. I haven't had any trouble getting up to speed.
