what exactly is he doing to achieve multiple pitches ? is it harmonics or whistleing?

I think he's doing some kind of throat singing. I know that at least in throat singing they know how to shape their mouths to stifle some harmonics and let others come through

I've since found out, that part is actually him buzzing his lips as a trumpeter would and the reason he takes the mike up to his neck is to stop it sounding farty . He does use harmonic throat singing at other points though.
