can you tell me what material are you using on the bottom (the one that inflates and its black) like what kind of plastic or rubber...thanks.

you can use anything really. a garbage bag or painters drop cloth will work just fine.
when i building my hovercrafts i am jusing a material called "mdf" it´s like a paper cardbored thing its the best for building hovercrafts. (thats only my opinion of course!)

I think balsa wood (as far as weight is concerned) would be a better choice than medium density fiberboard
