  • What tunes did they play? _ freakin awesome stuff! We saw you guys once and we were scared shitless - the CMCC Warriors were that good.... (Spokane Renaissance)

  • Wow the memories! I knew Maurice RIP. I was in CMCC Intercession Drill team 73 - 83. Made many trips to HQ on 170th street. We always beat the Jerome Girls @ the Forum @ MSG. The good old days! Looking for more CMCC Drill team or Warrior videos to show my kids. If you have any PLEASE Upload!

  • their OTL in '72 was hot and who can ever forget their production number of "Shaft"- they beat more than one corp in the summer of '72 that ended up making up DCI's top 12. I heard the reason they didn't go was they had overage members, but I think it was they didn't have the money.

  • classic drum corp ,

  • There were so many great Corps in the New York , New Jersey area in the late 60's 70. Let see Garfield Cadets, St. Andrews, St Lucy's, Blassed Sacraments, the Warriors, Muchachos. Dont forget the senior corps. Long Island Kingsmen, Skyliners Caballeros.

  • My father was a Warrior in the late 60s to early 70s. His name was Maurice "Moedice" Jackson. Does anyone remember him? He passed away 2001.

  • Yes I knew your father.. Wow he passed I'm sorry to hear that he was a funny guy

  • I had an old album - think it was FeltForum in 1970 - loved CMCC - think they played Man of LaMancha OTL that year . In any case, one of my favorite old school corps ever

  • HB, was Al Hicks playing with the corps this year?

  • my father was a part of this cadet core. from 68' to around 73'

  • This was one of the first Drum Corps I ever seen!!! And Drum Corps changed me forever!!!

I joined the Knights of St. George, then St. Rocco's...

What I loved as much as the competitions, was Randall's Island....

Nigtht after night you could go there and see all the best drums corps around...

I will never forget those amazing times....

  • I was in the Riversiders Bklyn NY Saprano anyone have any thing on them?

  • Anyone remember the short drum major, the "click" in the color guards holsters or the rifles soaring higher than any other competitor?

  • Finally!!!!!! Marched with CMCC 77-79 Baritones. Thanks for the memories. Off the line was voodoo suite, the 1 production was a tribute to I think Dr. King, 2nd production was ain't necessarily so (porgie and bess) can't remember the concert, 3rd production was summertime, exit was night at the carnival with a re-entry of voodoo suite.

  • I was in St. Andrew's Bridgemen during this time and thought CMCC was a good group.

  • I loved your 1973 show it was great!!!

  • I loved it too man I think I was their that year. I was 15yr's old. I was a Riversider from Bklyn,NY. Most of the warriors that year came from The Riversiders break-up the year before. After losing the GS circut to St Andrew Brideman WoW!

  • I have a vinyl LP of '73 World Open with CMCC featured. Ironside as opener/"off the line" still rocks to this day! It's still a classic, as far as I'm concerned. Blowin' In The Wind, Theme From Shaft -- Goose Bump City, baby!!!

    - csm (Rochester Crusaders, 1992, 1993)

  • St Andrew man! It was a long time ago

  • Brings back memories.
