Many people feel not wearing one is stupid. The US Military is only a couple of years away from incorporating a full face protective mask for its troops, because it makes sense...

Thats because in general you have your guns upgraded up to 400fps and more, so full face mask are a must at your scirmish sites (as you call them).

We just use combat balistic googles and play in an fores t or MOUT area. We dont have sites that have artificialy made covers and so, we try to do all as realistic as it can be done.

The red and blue 'rags', or 'tape', on the players arms are so that the other plays on that team don't shoot their team mates, if they're confused. Personally I don't follow those game-play standers, I like to get as realistic as possible.

I agree, i hate different colored tape for diferent teams.

If someone has to have a red tape around the arm then whats the point of BDUs and camouflage?

If the enemy is close enough that your armband gives you away and you haven't eliminated them yet, theres something wrong...

There is nothing wrong, we use special tactics and we try to let the enemy as close as possible so we can get a 100% shot. For that you have to be good in camouflage. Red tape around your arm yust makes it harder to do so.

Also we are an mil-sim team and in real combat enemy troops dont wear any markes so that you can see that they are against you.

The Red Rag is a "Dead Rag" or sometimes called a "Kill Rag". When eliminated, players put it on their head as a visual signal to other players that they are eliminated.

Stupid and pointless. I saw about ONE sniper, who was having problems cuz ever other guy with some sort of AEG could shoot nearly just as far. and a hell of alot faster. i wouldnt do it.

no.. no no no oh no.. no where near as far, fps limit for AEG is 410. sniper is 550, plus snipers hav a longer barrel, thus making them able to OUTRANGE an AEG
