  • Great deadlift!!

  • @cbfall Thank you!

  • @HHH396 You're welcome!!

  • Whoa, look who is becoming a deadlifter! Nice work, bro!

  • @jlinteris Thanks Jordan! What's up man,you still training or what? Get your ass back on here! lol

  • @HHH396 Ha, not training overly hard. In good shape though. Fell on ice at work and tore my labrum. Right shoulder is wrecked. Cannot comfortably press 10 pounds over my head and it has been like this for 4 weeks so far. I will just do pussy circuits and cardio for the time being. Hope all is well with you.

  • @jlinteris Oh shit man sorry to hear that.I hope u get better bro! I've had rotator cuff issues all year long.Haven't really been able to get near my best stuff on bench. My right shoulder has been messed up for about the last month and not getting better....so i figured this was a good time to start trying out some deadlifts. It's been going well on deadlifts though.I've only been training them a month. Before that I had touched a heavy deadlift.Well anyway Get better bro!

  • Do you use chalk ? If not, Then Probably could add an easy 50-60 lbs chalked up. Also,if you allready have a power rack i'd strongly recommend rack holds. They enable to get past sticking points with grip. Thing is,with someone like myself, the sticking point on full rom deads was always lower back. I used to do 600+ on rack holds but my dead max at that time was 455 because of my vulnerable lower back.

  • @bobbyd7085 Yeah I used chalk.Grip is not a problem for me.I have had lots of lower back slipped discs over the years so I have to be careful of my back.

  • Now I HAVE to hit 500 before this summer! You gonna start doing deadlifts again now?

  • @DreadfulControversy Yeah man get it! Yes I will continue as long as it doesn't aggravate my lower back.

  • Good Job Mark, this didn't look to hard either! Your deadlift is going up really fast!

  • @pbhenry Thanks Brenden! Yeah it's going nice at the moment.I'll probably take a week off heavy maxes, then maybe try 510-515 in a couple weeks

  • Congrats my friend strong and Bench Press 440 lbs my friend when come?

  • @CHAlexReinhard Thanks Alex! I'm still working on the 440.I've had off and on shoulder problems that have been slowing me down.

  • @HHH396 Thanks Alex!

  • great pull mark! that looked easy bro!

  • @j0540212 Thanks a lot Josh!

  • nice job bro

  • @DeadliftHeavy550 Thanks dude!

  • YEAHHHH Mark! I think you had 510-515 in you bro! that wasnt even that hard! I mean it was hard, but not max effort for sure! i say take a lil break, go light next week, then come back with 510+ bro, you looked golden! I cant wait to see how much you sumo pull after a few months of squatting, im sure close to 550! Damn Mark, all i can say is good job brotha, there wasnt a doubt in my mind that you would get 500, after how easy 480 was dude!

  • @PowerlifterTy16 Thanks buddy! Yeah I need a break from maxing.I'll drop down to some rep stuff....and yeah I def need to start squatting again!!

  • Congrats man! hahaha at your reaction. 500 (without straps too) is super solid!

  • @emeraldseven Thanks bro! Yeah i was pretty psyched haha

  • Looking strong bro , i have never pulled with sumo is it easier or just a different variation ?

  • @BIGDADDYJOHNSON27 Thanks Lee! The sumo uses more leg and hip strength and less back.I like because I have strong hips and legs, and I have a weaker lower back.So it's good for me.

  • Awesome Mark. I noticed when you pull, you tend to lock the knees a bit early, forcing the load on your back. I bet you could knock out 515-525 if you keep that bend in the knee until you attempt the lockout. Like always, good work.

  • @kickenwing30 Thanks bro! Yeah I'm still working the kinks out.I pretty much just started deadlifting with max weights for only about 4 weeks.Good point though I will have to keep the pressure off my back as that is my weak area.

  • I love the yahhhhh! at the end too lol, ontop of all that you did it sporting khaki's, power to thr fashion!

  • @WeightLifterNerd Hhaha yeah man the drag of the pants may have cost me a few Lbs lol

  • Yeah!!! 5+ plates I knew you could do it! So now your in the 5 plate club for squats and deads and 4 plates for bench, you still look good for more man!

  • @WeightLifterNerd Thanks a lot Jared! I think I had another 10 lbs if it had been on the bar.

  • Hahahah wahoooooooo awesome man!! I love the ending after u lift it. Nice

  • @MrJihad99 Thanks Jihad,I appreciate it buddy!

  • That was great Mark! And you still did it with the "grip and rip" style. Looks like it hasn't failed you yet! I think I'm going to give that style a try after watching how well it's worked for you!

  • @oratorman Thanks Matto! Yeah i think you will like it man.I mean we are built similar so you should do well with it!

  • Quick increase, 500 came fast, don't make the mistake I keep making Go slow , bigger numbers will come soon enough , Great pull!

  • @powerful1677 Thanks my friend! Yeah from this point I need to slow down and start repping weight. And actually start squatting again, which I haven't been doing lol

  • Strong Work Mark Congrats welcome to th 500 club!

  • @powabuilda Thanks a lot Nate!

  • Congrats mark! Great job! And it went up quite quickly man! I'd say you've got some more poundage in the tank maybe 520 who knows. Great job buddy!

  • @JOELHATSWELL Thanks a lot my friend! I will take a bit of time away and maybe in a couple weeks try 510-515 or so.

  • congrats solid pull looked perfect!
