scarfaceG63, we're using the Tilton Carbon-Carbon Clutch. I think it works really well at the track, but as a DD type clutch, I've heard it may not last as long as many others. Also, the cost to rebuild them is not as low as some vendors would have you to believe.
It spools about 200 RPMS slower than the FP-RED. For us, we typically hit peak torque about 700 rpms behind a "Normal" street build. Our peak torque is about 5650 and I've observed another build that sees peak torque by 4700.
this pass was only 23-25 psi, but at 40 psi it made 686 on Cobb's Mustang Dyno. At 43 psi it hit boost cut, but still came back up to show 712 whp/614 wtq.
Difficult to say because as hp on Mustang goes up, dynojet difference goes down. Same day, same tune (different turbo/build and early tune) car made 530 Mustang Dyno. Went to Switzer's Dynojet and made 566. Another Dynojet in FL made 921 whp, yet only made 802 on this same Mustang. Variance of 7% same day Mustang to DJ, yet 13% difference same Mustang to DJ in FL. So corrections or not make a huge difference. Low diff seems to be the 7%, high is in the 13-15% range.
@KIKEIXMR1982 On this turbo setup, we were using the MAPerformance O2 housing/dump with the Tial wastegate using the 16 psi spring. On this particular run, we were running only the spring pressure, which 'spiked' to about 18 psi on launch.
@lancer7610 Since it was wastegate boost only, I'm not too sure what it averaged. At 36.5 psi, we made about 656 whp, @ 38 psi we made 667 and 40.3 we made 686 whp on a Mustang Dyno. At 43.3 hitting boost cut, it made 721 whp.
wow crazy and thats on a OEM FLANGE style turbo huh?? WOW thats awesome and to think i bought a precision billet 6265... now i feel RETARDED!! :(
