I practice iwama style and i've been in several seminares with Saito Sensei. I never saw sensei teaching nothing like that! You don't even know the difference between omote and ura waza. You started "toe to toe", as an ura waza and then continued entering with atemi to the front of uke - that is omote waza. Concluding: you've invented a new technic; the Sankyo urate waza.

YAAAAAAAWN! if i Studied at that DOJO I'd be 80 yrs old by the time i've learnt any Decent aikido tecniques at all! is this Aikido for retirement homes? -Get Real!

most 6 dan + dudes are pretty old. it takes about 12-15 years to get 3rd dan. 6th dan takes around 30 years. calculate =) ( 10th dan around 40-50 years). i got 2nd kyu and the techniques work gr8.
