  • Damn for those folds I must have this katana. time to check the price, check my wallet and come back in 5 years :p

  • fat guys swinging swords like this make me embarrased to love swords, damn beverly hills ninjas

  • Im looking for a folded, clay tempered Katana. got any?

  • you dont swing that sword like a barbarian. you might cut your face. samurais handle their sword with grace and fitness and cut fluidly. . go to ligit dojo before posting stupid videos you are not funny.

  • learn to cut properly! you are degrading the samurai!

  • ggeeeeez, cant wait till this guy cuts his own leg off..... take a class, buddy...

  • Did you buy this off of Trueswords?

  • @xRFGSxFullmetal dumbass this guy has his own website that he sells swords off of... (swordsofmight.c0 m)

  • @Koolkid736 Hahaha, You dumb fat fuck, Don't get mad you fuckin nerd.

  • @xRFGSxFullmetal over reaction much rofl

  • @Koolkid736 I love it when people try to act cool online, it just makes them sound gay.

  • @xRFGSxFullmetal troll much...blocked <3

  • @Koolkid736 You're actually the troll.

  • whats the song in the vid

  • im sorry, but why is this sooo frickn inexpensive? it has a folded blade, a hamon, and bo-hi. this would usually put you in the $800 range. is there something fake on this and they're not telling???

  • @irnlxkjoe fake hamon

  • OMG learn how to cut properly.

  • quite a nice piece am considering buying it... i will c though...

  • im so lucky i orded a sword it that should have 12k layers but they sent me a 50k$ katana with 32k layers i went crazy went i read it on the card that came with it, did you know traditional katana's are made with iron sand

  • @pearlfigther traditional katanas arent made from the iron sand. katanas are made form the pure steel the sand contains. when the iron sand is placed into a smelting furnace, they are able to get the pure steel from the sand which they call tamahagane. tamahagane is what makes the katana

  • I know...

  • ARGH!

I looked this up on US vendors...$140 (fair enough) One problem though...I live in the UK.

Any other cutter who lives in the UK feels my pain. Price for the SAME sword over here 180...sterling (about $300). Why does a sword double in value the second it's transported across the atlantic? I've got to find a vendor who imports directly from China.

Anyway, Masahiro's quality can be questioned, one thing's for sure is that the hamon isn't real. It's just folded steel in katana form really.

  • what kind of metal is it cold steel or cold iron?

  • if you were able to wield a sword with one hand with precision and speed then it's not made from steel...you need hours and hours of practise in order to wield it one handed. You'll be able to wield it when you notice muscle growth in the area up from your wrist...tiil then use it 2H

  • how can you people use two hands on one sword? I CAN'T!

  • the two-handed style is the normal style of samurai, as the katana was crafted for that. It just takes a bit of practice, and it's actually quite easy.

  • I've just always used one hand,I'm not accurate with 2

  • cuz u suck, or becuz your swords handle is cut in half

  • I DON'T SUCK AND MY SWORDS NORMAL, for all you know i only have ON HAND!!!!!!

  • BECAUSE YOU ARE A GIANT !!!!

  • looks like a good sword..his technique however...

  • is this sword heat tempered?

  • i really wish i could see the wooden box it comes in...

  • Can you cut trough plastic bottles with water?

  • i guess if it can cut mats it can cut bottle with water with ease... that guy isnt swinging properly

  • how sharp and how well balanced

  • Beach mats.

  • Tameshigiri is not something you cut. It means test cutting. You're thinking tatami omote, or goza.

A side note. Beach mats are cheap and commonly hhave dirt os sand that can badly scratch the finish. Although if we're taking beater swords then who cares, right?

Another side note. Don't twirl your katana in one hand. It made Obiwan and Tom Cruise look like boobs. What makes you think it will work for you? ;)

  • @moman007 Tameshigiri is a verb, not a kind of mat....

  • @moman007 tameshigiri isn't a noun, its a verb.

  • i have a video of my zatoichi stick sword vs a japan meat cleaver, one stroke three pieces..

  • is this sword sharpened like a knife, like the lower priced masahiros? thank you

  • No....

  • id like ta get a folded steel real stick sword.

  • linda katana!!!!!!!!!

  • How much??

  • is the hamon wire brushed?

  • Yes

  • the hamon is real like the paul chen practical plus??? what is better for cutting this or the paul chen practical SH1070???

  • how much was it?

  • @swordsofmight why would they fold a sword then wire brush the hamon on? masahiro just sorta makes my eyebrows raise up

  • does it have real rayskin

  • Yes

  • is the hammon real?

  • No...

  • i like the katana but wel don't you think it is kinda lifles to just cut those targets with it instead of doing a real martial arts sport with it?

  • lol too bad if you kill someone, then it'd be considered 1st degree murder, and homocide.

    is it a real hamon?

  • is it a live cutting blade?

  • Yes.

  • :( i thought it was gonna be all cool like folds up and unfolds to make it longer

  • wow that sword cuts really good

  • that katana looks very nice

  • wow,, its a very nice folded katana,, just one question,, is it fully sharpened.

  • It sure is. This is definitely the sharpest Masahiro so far!
