I was there and I can just about guarantee the reason for those empty seats is because of the incompetent traffic control to get in and out of the venue. There was no way to get to sufficient handicapped parking. I had a person with me who needed access to handicapped parking and we had to park over a mile away and walk to the arena. The night and music was very memorable and a dream come true, but getting to the arena was a nightmare.

I was there for the Raleigh show. I'm not from NC, so no state loyalty when I say the place was PACKED, and the audience was electric. The empty seats you see in this video are the seats facing the back of the stage. They were filled at the beginning of the performance, but emptied out as the night went on. This may have been due to people finding better positions elsewhere, since the band seldom faced in that direction. I didn't notice those kinds of vacancies anywhere else in the stadium.

I was at the show in Raleigh and there weren't any distinguishable empty seats other than in the clip you just saw. There apparently was a huge traffic pile up that caused some people to miss parts or all of the concert, so any empty seats can be attributive to that. The place was packed!

I'm really glad they brought this song back,i like hoe Edge plays guitar live still,wish Larry played like during The Joshua Tree tour,with the high hat mostly.I know most people don't care about that,lol.

Empty seats? North Carolina is a garbage state, Cowboys Stadium was packed all the way up into the nose bleeds. Who gives 2 shits about Raleigh?

you know people do get up to use the bathroom or for drinks, and depending on the songs that people like or not they will get up and go use the facilities or what not. Thats why I never drink during concerts, because I hate leaving to use the bathroom or people that do.

For starters, if there actually ARE empty seats, this is the first U2 gig on this tour where that's the case. Secondly, it's not a shame. For Christ's sake, they are on track to have the biggest tour of all time, over any other rock band. They are succeeding more than anyone ever thought and to diss on them because there may be a few empty seats in a stadium is totally ignorant and ridiculous. U2 keeps getting better and better :)

c'mon there's like 15 empty seats there that's all & those seats are behind the stage...could be the few hundred people or so who said they missed the concert due to horrible traffic I would be more pissed off by the assholes who walked in front this persons camera if they did to me I would have clocked one of them
