  • this is very interesting stuff...

  • At that time in 1972... If you were a teen stoned out of your mind on green bud, this song was pretty good.

  • großartiger Song - und es ist erstaunlich, wieviele debile Doors-Hörer es gibt....(siehe Kommentare weiter unten). Fans kann man das nicht nennen, eher Banausen.

  • no way any ac dc baloney could come close to the doors dream on baloney boys

  • I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE LOOK FOR A REPLACEMENT AFTER JIM'S DEATH... CAN YOU IMAGINE AC DC WITHOUTH BON SCOTT ??? OF COURSE WE CAN !!!

  • they should have continued on, with out the Doors name, no Jim Morrison, no Doors, as simple as that, this song is ok but its not the doors. With a new singer they could have called themselves the windows or something like that.

  • @Joeltaa347 shut the fuck up lol u don't even know what you're saying.

  • great !!!

  • Solid music and songwriting. Very enjoyable listen. Still could use Jim Morrison on vocals though.

  • The Doors needed Jim just as Jim equally needed the Doors.

  • I would love love to hear them jam for an hour with no singer.

  • I've never heard this song, it's quite good! and the solo is excelent

  • I wished they audtioned a new singer after Jim. I mean they were still so young and full of ideas... never to replace jim but to go again!

  • @appbadder The only vocalist that could have put it all out there & was available for a steady gig? Jack Bruce !The only thing how are you to tell Jack not to bring his bass ?

  • @DaDa2Phlux Good one, the bass guitar would have been fine with me - LA Woman use's a session bass player plus a few earliar recordings.

  • @appbadder they tried with Iggy Pop for some shows but The Doors maybe thought that the story could repeat haha, that's why they disbanded

  • @GOORVY Interesting, but Iggy had his own destiny - to hang out with Bowie in Berlin etc

  • NOPEEE// ;S JIM WAS THE DOORS

  • i dont blame them for trying but the doors wernt as good without jim.however this is a good song with a great solo

  • Didn't sound like they missed jim too much. Almost like they didn't think he died. Until the money didn't keep coming in. Then it was "Oh no, we were Jim Morrison's DOORS". How is this good for America?

  • they should tried to replace jim. im the biggest fan of jim but robby has no vocal talent what so ever.

  • I wish they would have just kept making albums without any vocals. They were good enough to be just an instrumental band.

  • @lonaticc The only thing was they made most of the music based off of Jim's lyrics

  • @lonaticc agreed just like american prayer

  • nice

  • There is a reason why The Doors albums without Jim arent well known. The music sounds great, its The Doors no doubt but without Jim...you get the point, no?

  • this came out same time my mind started slippin.

  • Mama Mia- that's good! Shank ya -keeping this *-*

    Giving sub too- G'nite-

  • Adding...Maradona had that that magic goal in soccer. You cant see even in slowmotion did he hit by hand. Ooo..but nothing proves, that he did it on drugs...

  • Jim Morrison was no Jesus. And Jesus was just one poor good hearted guy in past history. And I'm just now typing here.

  • Jim was WAY ahead of Jesus, baby....

  • Like Robby's vocals here - but, what could Morrison have done with this song......?

  • This is great .Good enough to buy but not

as great as with Jim.The muse is'nt so

    much there. Victoria

  • yeaah its great but theres something missing

  • @fretschii jim?

  • @fretschii Yeah, Jim

  • The Doors aren't The Doors without Jim.

  • this is great...!

  • oh yeah, great musicians but Jim was just so legendary.

  • I think they called this album Full Circle because Ray originally sang in the band that would letter become the Doors. Anyone know this for sure? It's been a long time since I read that book....

  • Grandissimo album

  • Jim would've loved the sound of this one.

  • for sure

  • I love the guitar solo of this song

  • first time hearing this post Jim song. I like it. Might have been tough for people to take at face value when it came out, considering they lost one of the biggest personalities ever. Thumbs up! "Someone spiked my wine" lol!

  • Thanks for another great post!!! Your Doors-video's are awesome! These pictures from the livetour's are very interesting too.

  • the doors is my favourite band, without jim is also somehow cool not a typical band because also the other 3 are great minds on music......and beatles it's not a typical band, big mistake by yayafv.......

  • lol, it sounds like you think the beatles arent really a big deal

  • It's still good. It ain't bad. Yeah, still good.

  • Jim had the charisma, after he died they had a different vibe of course, but they still made some gnarly tunes.

  • Who's singing?

Did Morisson morph while on a fungus trip into Phish?

  • Robbie Krieger is on the voice. This album was recorded 1 year after Jim's death.

  • @Mae77 isnt it ray singing? 35-125. Im probly wrong lol

  • @MrAraya83 , Nope, it's Robbie.

  • Jim mOrisson misses!sO it isn't niCE!

  • this might have been a good doors song with jim's lyrics and voice.

  • Happy 70th Birthday Ray!

  • geat song....

  • good guitar work by robbie.

  • Hi, please can you help me to know: what "it slipped my mind" means?

    Thanks!

  • It means to forget to do something. Does this help?

  • thank you! yes it does :)
