Raul Azpiazu is the son of the great Don Azpiazu, recognized for starting the "Rumba Craze" in the 1930's after introducing "El Manicero"(The Peanut Vendor)in April of 1928 in NYC. Probably "Salsa's" nutty beginnings. Raul himself has been a very successful singer for over 50 years in the USA...he has sung for five presidential inaugural balls.
