I think fed printing money is one part if equation hyper inflation but it is the government debt is biggest role. hyperinflation threat comes dollar not longer being world reserve currency. due to trade deficit a lot more inflation of the dollar is happening out the usa.

Suppose instead of money, we used clams. If the clam supply were too big, clams would be worth less. But what if the clams themselves started going bad? The price would go down, but not because of volume. So could the same thing happen to the dollar? I.e., the value of the dollar drops, not because of oversupply, but due to a loss of "appetite" for US dollars.
