Yes theyve made the new gladiators a more updated version of some of the old classic ones. Thats exactly how theyve made the gladiators to be, except Spartan is meant to be the Hunter of the new one

'That guy' was hunter, and John Fashanu, one of the hosts of the old gladiators used to say Awooga, but it never quite caught on. He probably said it for comedy value
