  • You seem to adopt President Obama's telepromter readings as the "standard." What if he's lying to you on the numbers? Wouldn't that take down your entire argument? You seem to be a fair kind of guy. I hope that you will ask him when he gets back from his current vacation. In lawyer speak, current vacation refers to his present vacation. The one that he is NOW on... Upon his return, whenever that is, and whenever that would be, now or in the future, whether he was telling the truth, or will ever

  • btw the CBO is known to make up false stats... and isnt MSNBC twice as biased as fox? also... weren't the last bills supposed to reduce the deficit? oh wait they tripled it.

  • Bull, Obama's health care plan was supposed to reduce the deficit, did it even come close? no. Do you believe this one will? How will this reduce the deficit when it is just the same garbage as the stimulus.

  • When does government ever save money through departments or programs? Oh yeah that's right, they never do since the government only consumes wealth and never produces wealth through taking money from the private sector (us) and giving to the government sector.

  • How can you tell when Obama is lying? His lips move. It's amazing the pretzel imitations a liberal has to go to in attempting to make a point. Not a relevant point of course. Fox didn't show it because it is fantasy accounting. The entire Obamacare bill is a boondoggle. The CBO has to use all the cockamamey assumption that are put in the bill...and of course Obama's latest lie--his budget!

  • @ThePumasgrin "Fox didn't show it because it is fantasy accounting. " And don't you think that's for the VIEWER to decide? That's what these videos are about. The deliberate attempt by fox news to HIDE what's really going on. Shouldn't news tell you BOTH sides of the story then let YOU, the viewer, decide what's right and wrong? I mean, credible news stations do that, yet fox news is the ONLY outlet where people don't care if they given the whole story. Hmmmm, wonder why?? Same agenda maybe??

  • The 1.4 trillion is a fantasy, you know like Social Security is sound. Just because you keep repeating it does not make it a fact. It is pure fantasy!

  • @DarkstarNV You morons make me want to pull my hair out, I can tear apart each and every liberal lie that these comments hold, but I have to restrain myself.

DISCLAIMER: I don't for a second believe what all conservatives say. Like most things, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Bill O'Reilly NEVER said that FOX doesnt report news. He said HE doesnt report news. He's a pundit, not a reporter.

  • @VegasBilgeRat why do you restrain yourself?

  • @fenix144 I restrain myself because discussing most issues with liberal hate-mongers in sheep's clothing, is like talking to a wall.

  • @VegasBilgeRat so can be said about speaking with far right persons. :) actually it is so while trying to speak with anyone who is adamant about what they believe.

  • Even the CBO now admits that these numbers are bullshit. This video has now been debunked by its own sources.

The healthcare bill does NOT decrease any debt. But it does cut hundreds of millions from Medicare for our elderly.

It also puts its numbers forth based on 6 years of service paid for with 10 years of taxes. -so even if it DID pay for itself, it would NOT the next decade after it was implemented.

  • It seems that Shep Smith is the only anchor at Fox News who avoids utter distortion. I could be wrong, but I've seen him a handful of times, and he's not bad.

Other than Shep, I see nothing but slanted (at best) news, to outright lies and demonization.

BTW: REPUBLICANS HAVE ADDED $5TRILLION TO DEFICIT IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. OUTRAGEOUS! And today, they bring a 1-page spending bill for a vote...AND IT HAS NO NUMBERS IN IT! Woah! Vote Dem, folks.

  • @demmmmm1 I like to watch Shep Smith a couple of times or so a week and find him to be the closest to "fair and balanced" as there is on Fox. He is still stuck with reporting the things they want reported, but he does the best he can with what they allow.

  • We need to send that Australian owned, ( FOX NEWS) it's owner Rupert Murdock, back to Australia or England, which ever he calls home now. Bill Hemmer, shame on you! I could tell your political bias on CNN .DO you really think you can get a reputable job after FOX dumps you? You are at the bottom of the barrel.

  • @LiveralViewer Please, do us a favor, and become a news reporter, broadcast on a national basis. If they offer you to read off a teleprompter, make sure that you are writing what will be on it. You would be doing everybody a favor.

  • if you take a closer look at the bill, you will see at which cost such deficit reduction comes - money do not come from a better organized health care in the country, but by imposing all bunch of small taxes that were not there before. In other words, if I merge several bills - one on healthcare and others imposing new taxes - we could imply that healthcare portion will save money which is false. It is overall higher taxes that do. I wish you read at least some of the 2400 pages of the bill.

  • wow u have opened my eyes.i will never watch fox news again .i see now,i feel like a fool for ever watching fox news

  • I understand your critique of the journalism on display here, but you taking the CBO projections at face value in your reporting is equally as unfair.

There is a reason that the American people have reacted against this bill, and your leading questions at the end are not getting at reality. They have had such a reaction because, while they trust government to add on large new cost structures (2010 Health Reform), they do not trust or want them to increase revenue/make the cuts to fund them

  • Huh. Even though this has been made a "featured video" by YouTube, it has still only drawn 31,793 views as of this moment This tells me that the American people are done with allowing the liberal attack strategy to influence them or even attract their attention. We are on to you. Time to stop the shrill personal attacks and start dealing with facts. Read the bill and come back with the detail to back this up (and in a way that isn't used to slam anyone) and I may consider your position legit.

  • @JenniferMI1 This video was never featured. The box you're probably referring to is titled "Recommended For You."

  • 1597 Thumbs up to 119 down after a year, or 92.5% - An A in any book. Most thinkers realize Fox fake news is unfair, imbalanced and unashamed. Even owner Rupert Murdoch finally conceded he has a right-wing agenda in his own words which can be seen on YouTube and elsewhere. He had no choice after Bush's own Scott McClellan and David Frum were honest enough to concede Fox's partisan propaganda & bias. Besides "news" is not suppose to be a 'balancing act" it's suppose to be about hard facts.

  • @UploaderDept That's good... all we need now is CNN, MSNBC, and all the other liberal news media to finally admit they have their own agendas to.

  • @TRMerc Typical and expected of a Fox supporter - in their world two wrongs make a right and they wouldn't know a fallacy if it fell on them, which they often do. TRMerc name the "far-left" at CNN equivalents of the obviously "far-right" political operatives at Fox fake news - Nixon's Roger Ailes, Reagan's Oliver North, Bush's Karl Rove and now Huckabee and Paliin? Who are the politicians working at MSNBC? Oh.... Republican Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchannan. Your bias is blinding you.

  • @UploaderDept Actually, I don't watch fox new... ever... so glad you can tell the difference between a moderate and a right winger. I don't care about what politicians are working, but when I hear a CNN reporter saying "It's my job to make sure this presidency succeed." I can't help but think there is a bias there I'm sorry but when a reporter says it's just job to help a president... is that Unbiased or Biased news?

  • @TRMerc You lie a no grown adult can help but at least see some of Fox "news", because it's all over YouTube, all over the internet, and even on other "news" channels each time Fox makes another scandal. I'm not saying that some of CNN has it's biases, but they don't hire political extremists such as Hannity, Plain, Rove, Huckabee, Oliver North, ad naseum. And yes, ALL media should hope the President of the free-world suceeds. Fox hero Limbaugh wants him, and thus this nation,, to "FAIL".

  • @UploaderDept You're full of double standards "Well it's ok for CNN and MSN to hire liberal extremists, but it isn't ok for Fox to hire conservative extremists." Also, it is also in the main news stories. I don't believe CNN or MSN reported that Pelosi's health care bill BANNED the writing of new insurance policies. Meaning when her bill passed people who HAD health care could KEEP their health care. People who did NOT have health care, would have to wait for the public "option"

  • @TRMerc Except that that portion of the healh bill (Page 94–Section 202) DOESN"T ban new health care policies, especially for the sake of a public option that doesnt even exist.

It says new policies have to be sold through the exchange.

That might be the diff between the "extremists" on the MSNBC vs FOX.

It's the continual and purposeful lying to foster ignorance which people like you then spread as gospel.

  • @booley Actually I heard about the banning of new policies on CSPAN... but thanks for assuming that I watch Fox news.

Or are you under the same idea that if someone looks at 1 Fox news clip on the net or another news station that they are a Fox news fan if they are of the conservative mindset?

  • @TRMerc @TRMerc "Actually I heard about the banning of new policies on CSPAN"

Yet you are no less wrong.

And considering CSPAN does not do it's own reporting, I am thinking it less likely you heard it reported on cspan so much as you heard someone make the claim on cspan, probably someone who was listening to Rush where the misinformation started and then spread by Fox news.

Is getting lied too second hand supposed to make the lie more credible?

  • @booley Agreed,....what's worse about most Fox ass-kissers is that they'll LIE and claim they don't watch Fox yet they mimic Fox like dittoheads and defend Fox lies at every turn - even worse, when caught in more lies, they stoop to the fallacy of "your another" as if two wrongs make a right. There is no station that comes even half as close to the political hacks such as Rove, Oliver North, Roger Ailes, Sarah Paliin, Huckabee. When Bush wanted a spokesman, he hired Fox's Tony Snow of course.

  • @UploaderDept Who said that language was like a virus?

Repeat a lie often enough you get enough people believing it, facts be damned.

TRMerc may have very well had heard it on CSPAN (or he remembers it that way) though since the comment I was responding too was him going on about MSNBC and Fox I really didn't care.

Ultimately where he heard it isn't relevant since the right wing machine is the source of the lies. A second hand lie is still a lie.

  • @TRMerc And you either lack comprehension of plain English, or, like Fox "news" you don't mind lying in public. I never stated, nor even implied in the slightest that CNN and MSN doesn't have "liberals". Rachel Maddow & Keith Olbermann CLEARLY admit it. After all "liberal" is defined in the dictionary as "open minded, generous, tolerant" - They're all that except they don't tolerate LIES from Fox that CNN & NBC never make such as "fair & balanced" Fox's DAILY lie because Fox is NEITHER.

  • @UploaderDept Alright, lets take what CNN and MSNBC are suppose to be good at... well MSNBC is hard to do because their slogan is "The Place for Politics", which isn't the only place...

CNN "The world news leader." who fails to accurately report on world events. Like how Israel has had over 2,000 rockets fired at them from Izz ad-Din al-Qassam every year from 2001-2007, but yet you don't really hear that on "the world news leader" or that al-Qassam is believed to be working in Gaza either

  • @TRMerc We could play the stupid fallacy of "your another" by pointing the finger all day long. What you're doing is the equivalent of a criminal before a judge and jury whose defense is "Well, my neighbor steals too." Ethics and morality don't work like that, neither do logic and reason. This video is about Fox "news" and their daily lies while lying they are "fair and balanced" when even owner Rupert Murdoch was finally forced to admit to his agenda, which is far deeper than other networks.

  • @UploaderDept I can see you're just as brain washed as you're claiming I am. I never said Fox News wasn't Biased, I never said Fox news doesn't slant the news to their biased... all I'm saying is that you can't point fingers going "They are the bad guys" when the other news stations out there are doing the SAME EXACT thing. It's like "Well I'm supporting the lesser of two evils." You can't condemn one without the other. I'm trying to get you on the "NO MORE BIASED NEWS" side. Not join Fox News

  • If you could jet get your head out of you're own rear end to see that was what I was trying to do instead of "HE'S A FOX NEWS FAN. EVERYONE LOOK AT THE STUPID FOX NEWS FAN." you'll see that, I don't like Biased news... I don't. I want the facts and to be allowed to come to my own conclusions, not be told what I'm suppose to think. Fox, CNN, MSNBC... THEY ALL DO THAT

  • jet = just

  • @TRMerc You're not only brainwashed, but you are lying yet again about what I think, and turning what I've written completely around. It's YOU who keep pointing the finger at everyone else. It's ME who keeps reminding you that reality and reason doesn't work like that. This video is about Fox "news" ...If you want to play the "your another" card, once again we could do that endlessly and it changes NOTHING about Fox. If you want to whine all day long about the other networks, make a video.

  • @UploaderDept Obviously you don't know Liberal Viewer that much, he supports CNN as a source of unbiased truth. So his videos attacking Bias news stations are against Fox. He will not talk about how CNN is bias, he will not talk about how MSNBC is bias, and obviously you will not talk about how they are bias either. My comment was directed at the Owner of Fox saying fox is Biased, and that if we can get the others to admit it we would be better. Like I said, you got your head up your &%%

  • @TRMerc @booley More stupid lies - First you direct your stupid "your another" fallacies at me, then you say they're not directed at me, and then ironically and hypocritically, you said I"M the one who has my head up his ass when it's clearly YOU, evidenced in post after post. This is the FIRST time you've mentioned "liberal viewer" but still the same logic applies - Two wrongs don't make a right & if we stoop to your rank stupidity, none of the pro-Fox video idiots post pro-CNN videos likewise.

  • @UploaderDept Good lord you're starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist. The whole thing about Liberal viewer is because you talked about how this video only pertains to fox. I say get your head out of your... because you only hear what you want to hear. Every post you say I lie, what evidence do you have? You say I repeat their talking points, but it wasn't Fox news that I've heard these things. Here is another thing, do I have a pro fox video on my channel? NO

  • @TRMerc At first your posts reeked of habitual lying, as if the world believe you've never seen Fox although they are ALL OVER the internet and OTHER news channels, then your posts reeked of stupid fallacious BS about the "other networks" as if two wrongs make a right ....get it? TWO - for about the TENTH time I and tother networks admit we have biases -It's human nature - it's just that some are far more extreme than others which you prove by your latest LIE of "conspiracy theories", sicko.

  • @UploaderDept I said you SOUND LIKE a conspiracy theorist... sometimes I don't think you know how to read. See SOUNDING like something is not the same as BEING something. Sound =/= you are. Get it? Cause somehow I'm starting to doubt your brain is comprehending anything I say. I think what you read from my posts is "Fox news is the best I love fox news I watch Fox news all the time." which isn't true. Also I have NEVER said this video lied about Fox News.

  • @TRMerc Either way, to suggest that my constant corrections of your constant fallacious BS, "sounds like a conspiracy theory" is a statement we would hear from nutcases. Get it? You keep putting words into people's mouth....Get it? I never implied in the slightest that you "love Fox news" - Get it? I've merely stated you keep defending them and yet LIED that you're clueless about them. Get it? And I've never said that you said "this vidieo lied about Fox news" ...get it? Nope, you can't.

  • @UploaderDept I'm done talking to stupid. Read over the posts slowly and carefully. Now if you excuse me I'm going to have a conversation with someone more intelligent

*turns to the nearest wall* Hello wall

  • @TRMerc Typical and expected immaturity....truth isn't about you or me or personality...it's about .....TRUTH and the truth is that this video is about the unfair, imbalanced and unashamed Fox "news" which even most of my Republican friends concede is the most biased network there is by far, no matter how much finger pointing and name-calling you do.

  • @UploaderDept You don't want the truth. You want YOUR truth. The truth is that all major news networks are just as equally bias and lie just as much as Fox news. Deny it all you want, but the Bias on Fox = Bias on CNN = Bias on MSNBC. Don't believe me? How many times are the tea parties called racist with no evidence to back it up. How many times are Obama's unpopular actions reported (like how he golfed more times in his first year then Bush did in 8, and Bush was criticized for golfing by CNN)

  • @TRMerc You keep embarrassing yourself with pure ignorance born of habitual lies. You LIED that "your done". NO two people are equality biased, much less an ENTIRE NETWORK. You're denial and LIE I'm denying that MSNBC and CNN are not biased when I CLEARLY said they were and NAMED names - AGAIN, Maddow, Olbie, etc. ADMIT they lean "liberal" while at Fox "news" they LIE DAILY they are "no spin" and "Fair and balanced". NO ONE is so perfect, NO matter what network. Get it? Like I said, NOPE.

  • @Texture2000 Because Obama could care less about the amount of debt he burdens our children with. The 800 billion he spent on job creation did nothiong to create jobs. He did pay back the auto unions with bailouts and he did pay back the teachers' union. Just as Nero fiddled while Rome burned, Obama could care less about the economy.

  • Fox the number one news on cable. That's because the liberal stations are just propaganda.

  • Obama fiddles while the economy tanks. Obama is the worst president this country has ever had. What a huuuge mistake to vote for this idiot.

  • @uberalles2 We are willing to listen. Please state your..no, THE facts as to why Obama is the worst President this country has ever had. Also describe "fiddles while the economy tanks". Thanks!

  • AHAHAHAHA. How can you read the word 'fiscal' as 'physical'...

  • Great LiberalViewer. All your points are mute since the HHS announced that the bill in fact increases the deficit by over 300 billion over 10 years even after all the tax increases.

  • @mikemike0221

There is no such thing as a mute point.

  • Comment removed

  • Gotta love that "Health care countdown" intro Bill has. Classic evil DAH DUH at the end and "countdown" as though this were some final death blow to the idealic america that never existed.

  • Fox is shit. Pure shit

  • Reducing the deficit: by raising taxes and reducing spending, would be like a business reducing their debt by forcing customers to buy their product at the same price, and making it a crappier or less costly product.

Or, reducing the deficit: by forcing someone to buy health insurance and price-fixing, would be like a business forcing a customer to buy their product, after raising the price.

  • Ugh, even worse than I wrote.

Reducing the deficit by raising taxes and reducing spending, would be like a business reducing debt by forcing customers to buy their product at a higher* price (increasing taxes), and making the product crappier or less costly (reducing spending).

Unless somehow gov. is becoming more efficient - but why raise taxes, then? Just continue to become more "efficient".

  • The puzzle is almost complete. Stay put people, the worst is wet to come. Peace out!

  • so you trust the goverment is telling the truth that this will save money? name 1 thing in goverment that has ever saved money!

Prove to me Obama isn't lying to us and its just going to hand out cash to unproductive goverment handout junkies. really ad 30million people to heathcare and lower costs with a goverment rogram that gives out free stuff.

btw big freaken deal if bush wasted money also, that dont make what obamas doing any better. just because bush raped my wallet dont make it ok Later

  • This is not true. The savings come when they build community health centers that poor people can access and get the treatment that they need. Stopping them from using emergency rooms to get care. Can't you see how that can save money? Read the bill and you can find the information there on how the cbo comes to their conclusion.

  • @liberalviewer, do you really think it's fair to call this bill "fiscally responsible"? first off, i'm unaware of any report that says this bill will reduce the deficit by over $1T. most reports reports i've read put that number closer to $140B, give or take, over the next ten years. furthermore, the term deficit reduction is a bit misleading, unless you not that the deficit is expected to average about $1T/yr for the next 10 years. so a $140 deficit doesn't really help much.

  • @cristoballs *unless you NOTE that the deficit...

  • Comment removed

  • @cristoballs

The approximately $1.2 Trillion in savings is over the next twenty years, not ten years. The $140 Billion is over the next ten.

But you can keep it, I'll be happy with my Canadian health care :)

  • @floydtron if it follows the same logic that they used to calculate the $140B, then it's not a real savings. i'd be more impressed with a president who produces a one dollar surplus, than i am with one who raises the deficit by $2T and then backs off by $140B.

  • @cristoballs The CBO estimates this health care bill saves > $1 trillion over 20 years because the tax increases and spending cuts in the bill more than pay for the additional spending. That's "fiscally responsible" because, again, unlike the Republican's Medicare prescription drug plan passed under Bush, this bill reduces the deficit compared to what it would be w/o this bill. The NRO article you sent me about "frontloading" isn't accurate. See, eg,

    tinyurl(.)com/ybul8b9

    Thx 4 commenting :-)

  • @lv, i have two major problems with the cbo report. one, is the uncertainty associated with just its 10 year projections. they're talking about a $134B decrease in deficit spending, but the actual deficit is still predicted to be about $10T, so the actual "savings" is within a range of uncertainty that could swing either way.

  • as for the additional $1.3T for the following decade, this number has even greater level of uncertainty, and the cbo makes mention of this.

furthermore, i gotta admit, i'm little bit worried when the cbo report says things like this:

"It is unclear whether such a reduction in the growth rate of spending could be achieved, and if so, whether it would be accomplished through greater efficiencies in the delivery of health care or through reductions in access to care or the quality of care."

  • @LiberalViewer The US is over $65Trillion in the hole. Where have you been?

  • You should not worry about hearing reports and read the bill. Due your duty and get informed for yourself instead of letting someone feed you the information. That is the first problem we seem to have. It could be solved just by reading.

  • Why do democrats bemoan choice when it comes to killing a child in the womb; but when it comes to health-care democrats push "top-down", "command-and-control", "one size-fits-all" solution?

  • The fact is this bill spends anywhere from $800 billion to $2.5 trillion. It makes up that money in extra taxes. It is a net plus because it taxes more than it spends. It basically uses new taxes to pay for the uninsured.

  • keep up the good work

  • Is FOX NEWS Biased?

Does George Bush have trouble with the word Nuclear?

  • What a bunch of jackasses...

  • they aren't jackasses, they are corporatists.

  • uh, Wow, is Fox forgetting that Obama didn't make the debt. Hello Busch, can we try and remember why we are in debt. And if Fox or any Republican truly cared about the American people they would welcome health care reform.

  • Bush's debt while he was in office was at 450 billion dollars, which is the banks fault because they gave loans to people to buy houses with even though they wouldn't be able to pay it back. The deficit as of today is 12.6 TRILLION DOLLARS. I DARE you to say it's Bush's fault. Dance around the facts, it doesn't matter. People need to stop blaiming Bush and actually see what is happening.

  • @Bluhblam the debt was over 9 trillions when bush left office. wtf are you talking about, its not even my country and i know that.

  • @neoblast1 Is that a joke. When Bush left office it was at 450 BILLION. Once Obama got the deficit to 1.5 TRILLION is was considered the highest American Deficit EVER. You are spewing pure bullshit. You have no clue what happened, and guess what, I actually did research to support my argument. You on the other hand are making this shit up as you go. Don't go blaiming people for other people's fault.

  • @Bluhblam @Bluhblam are YOU a joke????

  • @Bluhblam type in google: bush debt 9 trillions you'll see what i mean. i cant give you link new youtube dont like links

  • @Bluhblam With no fanfare and little notice, the national debt has grown by more than $4 trillion during George W. Bush's presidency.

It's the biggest increase under any president in U.S history.

On the day President Bush took office, the national debt stood at $5.727 trillion. The latest number from the Treasury Department shows the national debt now stands at more than $9.84

  • @neoblast1 cause conservatives were asleep; i was one of them. :(

we're here now, lets fix it instead of aimlessly pointing fingers and saying whose fault it is.

  • @MsScarletJ wow thats old; so because it's bush's fault; obama can do whatever he wants....

the conservatives dont want the health care reform because they understand that this 'free' health care has to be paid by someone; you that tax payer... they raise taxes on the rich, the rich will get pissed off and leave for a country that isnt trying to rob them of every cent they earn. this reduces the amount of tax revenue which increases the burden on the top and middle class; repeating the cycle.

  • @MsScarletJ Very very well said MsScarletJ.

Fixed New$ and their hypnotized viewers have just kinda sorta in some way maybe don't remember anything about the bu$h jr. administration.

  • @MsScarletJ I've written on YouTube nearly two years ago that Fox fake news was blaming Obama for everything before Obama even took office. GOP leader Steele even lied that Obama started the Iraq War, and of course Fox said nothing.

  • @MsScarletJ

Hello Busch who is that a beer, how about hello Bush.

  • @MsScarletJ Obama and his democrat congress buddies have QUADRUPLED the debt. Why do so many people hear only what they want to hear??

Bush spent way too much. He should be known for this. But the congress was controlled by democrats for his last two years in office---the years with the MOST spending!

    Stop believing this liberal spin.

  • @MsScarletJ So many people waste time pointing fingers at the "other side" and totally ignore the issues each side is talking about. Shows like this just stir up hate and don't solve anything.

  • @kbice1049 This isn't stirring up hate it's setting the record straight

  • Fox is trash!!!

  • LOL you actually believe that the reform bill would profit 1.4 trillion dollars? Are you joking yourself? Yes and Social Security will profit as well. Haha come on now dude you were making half brain dead arguements on your other videos but this one is just blatantly making me laugh. CBO only stated this because they said they would cut 500 Million from medicare and introduce 400 Million in new taxes. Please stop advertising this BS.

  • IDK what these idiot politicians are talking about, If they had read Modern Money Mechanics they would already known that the only was to have no debt is to get rid of National Reserve. Noobs.

  • Yes.. and not even the trillion (which yes, is amazing) but even mentioning the 132 billion dollars, that breaks down to 13.2 billion per year over the next ten years (REDUCING OUR DEBT). How can people be attacking and lying about this? Does Fox really hate America this much? Fox isn't paying for this.. America is.

  • kids are told that the system is against them, that whites are stealing from minorities, that their problem is the greedy rich. they are told that they can't get ahead. they are told there is no work and that they are stuck. the police are the enemy. if you are a black child in a poor community and hear that message, would you work hard to try to get ahead or would you drop out, join a gang, and try to destroy the system? you are feeding poison to innocent kids. the results speak for themselves.

  • You may know about poor people but you are clueless about how to lift them or the communities that have been destroyed by your mentality. Should I just stand by and watch clueless fools continue to pass the same failed thinking to the next generation or speak up? Which would be the hateful thing to do?

  • Probably the biggest reason I hear from those who are definitely capable of taking care of themselves for not doing so is because they will lose their section 8 voucher, their medicaid, their food stamps. they don't see the benefit. the starting rungs of self dependence have been greased over with upside down rules that reward not taking initiative or becoming whole. i've seen too many others lose dignity, become addicts, become dead inside, families separated, kids raised on the street.

  • kids barely in their teens hurrying to become pregnant so they can start collecting their 'paycheck' like their friends. every one of these kids starts out so beautiful, so innocent. but they adapt. the community organizers don't spend much time with the kids sitting on the fence getting bullied, instead the attention goes to the bullies. all those low cost houses that you blame for the problem could be purchased for almost nothing and restored on a minimum wage job but it makes little sense.

  • Imperativenation, if you ever get past your own talking points and decide to actually help change the situation rather than blaming those who want to lift communities and the people in them with honest reward systems, we might begin to get some social justice. until then, we will get the same upside down programs with the same predictable upside down results. so keep running from the debate as kids conntinue to die. i won't blame you for purposely being hateful, just for hateful results.

  • This has really been the biggest impediment to actually solving problems in recent years. The community organizers have done a good job demonizing the productive people in this nation. somehow it is their fault that others are poor. They try to demonize the rich for taking too big a part of the pie even though we live in a free nation where it is possible to create all the pies we want by using the models that work . Few start out rich but through certain paths almost anyone can become rich.

  • When community organizers turn their job into a quest for more federal help by collecting signatures, organizing marches, or signing people up for welfare they pretty much assure the neighborhood will become a ghetto. Instead, they should be organizing community watches and street cleanups, working deals on the boarded up commercial building so more entrepreneurs blossom, more jobs and more wealth created. Unless you truly hate the next generation of children coming up, at some point you

  • Unless you truly hate the next generation of children coming up, you will demand that community organizers begin to be responsible for the communities that they organize. You may mischaracterize who is hateful if you like, but it mostly hurts the people who you supposedly want to help.

  • I'm done with you. You are nothing but conservative talking points. Welfare is not keeping poor people dependent on the gov't. What's keeping them poor is lack of jobs in the area, poor housing prices, and limited funds to travel for jobs. That's for starters.

All you've told me is that you have no clue about the poor. If you think the only thing community organizers do is make people dependent on the gov't, then there is no hope for you. Instead of talking points, educate yourself.

  • ImperativeNation, as mentioned, there is more work to be done in poor areas than anywhere else. work comes from people starting businesses which start with a knock on a door, offering to do yardwork or cleaning or running errands. honest, hardworking people eventually build a client base, hire workers, become those evil rich people who start other businesses. as an evil landlord who works with the poor every day, i try to educate tenants so they don't stay in their situation. sometimes they

  • sometimes, very rarely, they follow the advice and. little by little, they build a base. i have helped educate several to purchase their own homes. some who succeeeded had very little income but built their lives while others ignored it and are still in the same situation for 20 years. it isn't that i don't understand the poor. i understand that the biggest impediment for those i deal with comes from the mentality that you try to sell. if it is not hateful on your part, it is certainly hurtful.

  • some day this nation's vision will be raised to a level so community organizers will be held accountable for the results in the communities that they organize. until then, they will continue to misidentify solutions, and continue to trap the next generation of innocent children with the same flawed mentality that has destroyed so many lives. it is sad that when light is shone on solutions, those with your mentality run from the discussion and retreat to the same tired stereotypes.

  • It's sad that the average Joe is afraid to get medicare in the states when he knows he cant afford it...

  • The saddest part of the whole political system is that the problem continues to be framed by many as rich vs poor rather than making sure that the poor do not stay poor in this country. Sadly, the government throws bones with conditions that end up making the poor even poorer with no hope of ever getting out of their rut. If they try, they lose their housing, food stamps, medicaid, and other benefits. An ever greater percentage of Americans now depend on the government. It will only get worse.

  • By making the problem worse and by creating more drag on the economy we end up where we currently are with millions more people out of jobs and without health insurance. The Dems went behind closed doors, crafted a bill that rewarded preferred lobbyists while ignoring all other solutions at a time when they should have been concentrating on the economy. Now we are getting so deep into the mud that health care solutions become even more problematic.

  • That health care plan is the key to save lives and at the same time beat those rich big pocket bastards who want to take all that money for themselves. Fox news will never reveal the truth, that's why people need to get into the internet more often and research on their own.

  • @uzimachi1 i am sure you truly believe your own steretyping but ask yourself a basic question. if all these rich pocket bastards are taking all the money for themselves, why are most people who have health care happy with it? also, if they are making obscene profits, why don't other smart business interests recognize the situation, serve a better product at lower prices, and steal all the customers from the greedy? if you give it any thought at all, competition is the protection against greed.

  • Why most people have health care happy with it? Who are we talking about? As far as I'm concerned not everyone can afford it, and more so, lots of people don't have it, so I'm pretty sure its a necessary thing to invest on. And I'm sure anyone who is against it then agrees that if you can't afford to pay a for example, 80 dollar pill that you need to take every day then you deserve to die? I really don't see anything wrong with Obama's health care plan, the rich just hate to pay for the poor.

  • @uzimachi1 polls show that people with health care are happy in extremely large percentages. Nobody is saying that changes don't need to be made to the system but stereotypes about rich vs poor is a big part of the oversimplification that has created the problems in this nation. First, nobody is turned away from care no matter how poor. The problem is that the system is inefficient. Obamacare doesn't address that problem. It makes it worse.

  • Well I respect your opinion on the matter, but I am sure there is always a solution to this problem, and I am sure Obama knows what he's doing. At least I am sure that if the media, such as Fox is against all Obama decisions it may have a huge chance that he just really wants to help people and some big pockets out there seem to be bothered by it.

  • @uzimachi1 you are full of stereotypes but no facts. obama did not even get involved in the health debate other than making deals with big pharma, big insurers, and big lobbyists like aarp. instead, congress passed two different versions of health care behind closed doors with no imput from the gop and no limits on big democrat contributors. you can assume that this is about making things better for poor people but the facts show just the opposite. the poor suffer the most in poor economies.

  • but that's ok, blame fox for giving the other side of the story rather than blindly passing along the talking points, no matter how insignificant or misleading they might be.

  • even the kennedy voters in massachusetts understand how bad this bill was. the democrats, who supported the closed door arrogance of this group who are more interested in their own egos by passing a bill that others couldn't, even if it was a terrible bill, should be ashamed of themselves. they probably cost the democrats any good will they had when they entered office and may very well cost them their majority in congress next election.

  • So many people missed the point of the video it's astounding. The debate isn't if UHC is workable or not; it's if Fox News' reporting was accurate and honest. They ignored a point that if they could openly refute would be a nail in the coffin of UHC and prove their statements true. Instead, they opted to completely ignore a point made against a key argument. That isn't honest journalism. You don't get to pretend the other side of the debate doesn't have an answer to your claims.

  • @claym001 apparently you miss the point of the comments. The so called deficit reduction is so small in comparison to the debt increase it is not worth mentioning. Also, any 'deficit reduction' is totally unrelated to limiting costs due to changes in health care, just the opposite. Deficit reduction would be due to cuts in medicare, tax increases, and other items totally unrelated to the trillions that health care will actually cost. Thankfully there is one network not drinking the koolaid.

  • If Fox were a news outlet then they have an obligation to include the reduction in this report

    .

BUT as Fox is actually a propaganda machine for the GOP then obviously not.

  • @ThereIsCake the so called deficit reduction during obama's term as president would be about 100 billion. the cuts to medicare during that period would be 5 times that much. there is no defict reduction based on health care changes. when comparing 100 billion in 'defict reduction' compared to an additional 10 trillion in debt added during his term, the reduction is about the same as taking a $10,000 mortgage down to $9,900 by taking away grandma's medicare. you won't hear that at msnbc. why not?

  • Serious question:

What is the Repbulican strategy to lower the defecit in the next 20 years?

  • @ImperativeNation I'm not a Republican. In fact, I voted to get rid of the GOP in last election. The had become arrogant, corrupt and irresponsible over the years. Washington is a sewer that tends to corrupt even the best over time. Unfortunately, the Dems have doubled down on the arrogance and corruption with closed door baqck room deals that would have made the situation far worse. The best way to lower the deficit is to control federal spending and get the private sector back to business.

  • "control federal spending"

well, that was the main point behind my question. What do you think is the best way to do that? Which portions of government spending need to be cut, or as you put it, controlled?

  • ImperativeNation, we had a good road map for deficit reduction after the GOP killed HillaryCare after the '94 election. Clinton jumped in front of the parade. As a Democrat, he appeased the left with small bones that didn't cost much while massaging the economy little by little. I'm hopeful that possibly that same dynamic will play out in 2010 and 2012. If Obama came around like Clinton did, with a new, responsible GOP Congress, the results might be similar, with blacks entering the mainstream.

  • But what is the solution for the long term? Do you think little by little every year the deficit well decrease? That's just not feasible, given that we are going to have down years (like 2008 & 2009 were.)

I keep hearing about how we need to lower the deficit, but when I ask how, especially from the conservative/right-leaning people, are we going to do it, I don't get a solid answer.

  • ImperativeNation, I think that pointing to deficit controls instituted after the '94 election does point to a solution. If you look at a graph of spending in recent years it is like a rocket taking off. if you look at government average salaries, it is the same, along with discretionary spending. All of that will help but we are also looking at 100 trillion in future promises with little way to pay. All programs need to be revisted, many programs eliminated.

  • ImperativeNation, at the same time, we need to encourage job creation through the private sector. every single job in the government comes on the back of the taxpayer, whether through current taxation or federal debt. private jobs cost taxpayers nothing and actually create profit for investors who can then create even more jobs through further investment. there should be no welfare, only workfare at low wages to keep laid off workers functioning but not permanently dependent.

  • without a total change of mindset, our nation is headed for the same bankruptcy that so many of our states would currently be in if they had not been bailed out by the feds. the only reason the feds can do it now is by borrowing at ever increasing percentages of our gdp. medicare is already headed for bankrupcy, as is social security, we have recently added drug benefits, next total health care, next cap and trade, next immigration reform that will add another 50 million poor to the rolls.

  • we have to open our eyes, we are heading toward a brick wall with a stuck gas pedal, going faster all the time. we can no longer keep playing the same politics, posturing, stereotyping rich vs poor, whites vs minorities, etc. we need adults to actually look at the numbers and deal with issues rather than continuing to mislead as this video clearly does. 100 billion during obama's presidency, even 1.4 trillion in 20 years, is nothing in the big picture, especially when they are unlikely cuts.

  • "there should be no welfare"

Why do you hate the poor? Do you honestly think everyone who is on welfare is on it by choice? Further, the most any person can be on welfare is 5 years, so you can't live off it for life. And that's not even taking into account state regulations on it.

And while it is important for new jobs to be created in both sectors, new jobs in the gov't aren't common. Further, the whole cost to run the gov't of this country is roughly 7%. I don't see a big problem with that.

  • @ImperativeNation, it is funny that you would mischaracterize replacing welfare with workfare as somehow hating the poor. Do you also see it as hate when a parent requires a child to do chores around a house? Taking care of oneself and contributing to the community is an important part of not only building a community but also of keeping one's self esteem and setting an example for the next generation. It is not a coincidence that in neighborhoods where the most help is given, the more work that

  • goes undone, the less ownership there is, the more ingrained the need for help becomes. If I were to try to demonize someone based on their world view, I would have to ask why you hate the poor so much that you would treat them like inconsequential members of the community. why you would condemn the next generation of children to the same upside down results, while at the same time taking money from others for no other reason than that they have more. Why are you so hateful?

  • Wow, you are that stupid. The reason those communities get the most help is because they need it.

Really, your entire rant shows how uneducated you are about living conditions with the poor. I'm sorry, but your disgusting social darwinism isn't okay.

Why don't you spend a week with some community organizers, and then come back to me and tell me they are what are keeping poor people poor.

  • Just to clarify for all of you who are complaining that the reduction is really an attempt to pull the fleece over people's eyes; this video is directed at the bias and pseudo-journalism that Fox News uses to pull the fleece over its viewers.

Any contradictions in the reduction or problems with the health bill should be discussed, but they cannot be discussed in a meaningful way when the news presented does not refer to it at all.

And how would kicking illegals out pay for insurance?

  • are you kidding me? you want the same system that handled Katrina to decide your health care? how about kicken the illegal aliens out of the country that would pay for all our insurance 10 times over.

  • If only we all lived in the fictional world of Obamanomics, and math doesn't matter after the ten year restricted view of the CBO and other government agencies. Where you can claim a reduction in spending even if you end up spending a hundred times what you claim to be saving in the long run. I wish my credit card worked this way!

  • While listening to BBC Worldservice this evening it was stated that the financing of anti-reform lobbying had escalated to BILLIONS PER DAY !

A huge corruption of the principle that the American people (corporate interest) can petition the government.

    Is there an alternative ?

thevenus pro ject do t c om

  • Liberal viewer has a lot of time on his hands and must be a victim of the 10% unemployment rate. What about MSNBC? Who's keeping tabs on their news anchors? I guess that's why you're a liberal....get a job bro!

  • he works for the ACLU and gets paid to make these videos douche bag.

  • LiberalViewer believes everything he hears, holy hell.

  • 3rd and final msg

im just trying to say that everyone who argues ocer facts will continue to argue because either side does not have the credibility to back it up. its pointless.

its better to go out and take what you think you know and apply the good of it to those you care about and to those less fortunate.

the fact is that 99.999% of peoples facts here on youtube comments are here say and cannot be facts unless you were there and witnessed what happend or what was said yourself

  • cmbsmith24, the numbers that i am using regarding the debt don't come from a news station. they come from the congressional budget office. you can google that and go to the official cbo website. don't put your head in the sand by saying that nobody knows. politicians depend on people not checking the facts while they distribute trillions to their friends, family, and special interests through bloated programs that will bankrupt the next generation. don't trust me, search out the truth yourself.

  • According to CBO, we had a 5 trillion dollar national debt before Bush. He added 5 trillion. Obama will add 10 trillion more. That is 20 trillion in debt that is paid through government sale of debt through short term and long term vehicles. paid at 5%, the interest charge on 20 trillion dollars will cost a trillion dollars a year. 5% is historically a low interest rate. during the last period of stagflation, interest rates went above 15%, which would be 3 trillion dollars in debt payment.

  • we have never even collected 3 trillion dollars in a year. how do we run a government if all of the money is going just to pay the debt? all existing programs are already going bankrupt including social security and medicare yet liberal viewer keeps trying to divert attention to a very small amount of additional tax collection that will do almost nothing to bring federal spending back into a sustainable model. all of this goes on the backs of our kids. the irresponsibility is unbelievable.

  • also, a big part of the supposed 'debt reduction' is based on cutting one half trillion from medicare, which is already underfunded and partially paid for by service providers, private insurers, and adding to the debt. many doctors are already starting to reject medicare based on it's low funding. how do you add more baby boomers while cutting even more funding? 'deficit reduction' also depends on cutting waste and fraud. any reasonable cuts to programs or eliminating fraud could be done anyway.

  • and if you haven't figured out how much 10 trillion in additional debt comes to just do the math. this debt that these politicians are willing to put on your children's backs during this administration would create 10 million new millionaires out of thin air. do you think you will be one of those instant millionaires or will it be friends, family, lobbyists, special interests of the politicians? how much do you think you will get so you will be willing to put this much debt on your children?

  • if you haven't figured this out yet, just consider how many politicians go to washington poor. how many leave rich, sitting on multiple corporate boards doing nothing but being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars on each one or given what turns into multi millions in stock options in exchange for using their influence to reward bloated multi billion dollar contracts to friends and family. but let's concentrate only on false reduction that liberal viewer keeps referring to, ignoring all else.

  • i appreciate the time you took into writing out that info, i was not an ass and i read it all :D

I'm not back liberal viewer im just frustraded with people leaving gay comments like "yeh well obama a socialist" or " no he isn;t"

like atleast you shown that youve done research.

My main point is although your numbers are most certainly close i would have to think they are higher. If i knew i was gonna fuck the country up i would make it seem not as bad...you know what i mean?

  • Since the FED was created your debt has sky rocketed. YOur country wil never pay off the total debt. EVER. but it doesn;t matter because unless you obolish the money system it doesn;t matter.

Please just watch all 5 parts and message me back. To many people message me back going off topic and don;t even bother watching the video because if you thinks it has some validilty i would hope you pass on the message

Again i do not support any of your leaders or mine they all spend our $ so f'em

  • 2nd part to my message

i just want to make everyone aware that ive read enough comments to see how people respond.

they state something as though they know its true even though they are are quoting a news station whom is quoting a repsentive. and this representive is quoting on the conversation that took place with said commity on things that took place else where in which the information was gathered from those whome were there. thats alot of people to go through. the message gets f'ed up
