@ForestBaltog: I have, and yes, it does. The melody is not hers, but comes from the cantiga "Non e gran cousa" which I mentioned in my earlier comment. If you don't believe me, look that phrase up on here and you'll find every version to have the same melody -- even versions older than Loreena's. This may or may not be a personal interpretation of that Cantiga, but she definitely pulled this song's melody from there.

I've just leaned by myself that the melody of this song is based on the " Cantiga 26 (Non é gran cousa)" of Alfonso X "el sabio" Spain, XIII century. She recogniced she inspired herself in ancient music. That's why we spaniards find Loreena so familiar. We love you Loreena!

I watched an interview and she said she gets her spirituality from nature. I have seen a small documentary that explains that which was a bonus dvd from her cd the visit I think.
