  • was the theatre full, cos wen i went the theatre was really empty

  • Liverpool Empire Had To Be The Best Performance

By Far, Scnene Was A Lot Better And Actors Were Top Quielty

  • From all the vids I seen I think by far The gaiety theatre in Dublin had the best performance

  • Yeah, i went to see it a few days ago and it was amazing

  • linda is fit!

  • yes and also a amazing voice to make up for it

  • narrator had a shite liverpool accent

  • I agree

  • she sounds irish lol. atleast she tried though.

  • its good, bt the one i went to see in Liverpool on friday was better.

  • im sorry to say this but the girl playing mrs. j is not very good... her singing was kinda nice though... but... still not enough

  • waaaaaaaay too fast. but pretty fair tallent hey

  • the narrator wasnt a woman wen we went to see it it ws a scotish man haha lol

boss tho luved it saw it twice

    xxxx

  • when did you go see it?

  • The Narrator is a Woman?

    lol!

  • this was the one i was at lol

  • It is a hard song to sing. She sung it well. The soundquality is not brilliant, which makes her sound off, but a great play, and great video, Thanks!

  • i was watching the 1 with anthony costa from blue , it was well gud , it rocked , i wana c it again

  • i was there!!! live lol the play consisted of 3 schools and i was tehre front row seats =D

  • the girl playing the mother needs to practice singing and the emotion of this song im sorry but its the truth

  • i was there in person i must say i had to wake up from a coma after it was over u guys were whack especially steve st.john

  • the narrartor sounds irish lol but gd job guys

  • What a sooooperb 4 nights it was at the Fringe a "sell out" only the lucky ones were able to secure a ticket. If you didn't go you .... well I did tell you ........

  • Why are people comparing this with the West End and Tour casts( which are great lol) this is an canadian cast and they are not profestionals snyway they are ok lol

  • what a disaster.... terrible !

  • Visiting Edinburgh Fringe? Want to see an awesome "play" production of Blood Brothers? Then visit Seven Dwarves @ Euroscot, 39 Palmerston Place Edinburgh on 12,16,17,18 August 2007 - 20:15 start. Experience wealth, poverty, fun and laughter, anger, frustration and ultimate tragedy. I bet you can't watch this production of Blood Brothers without bubbling like a baby after being gob-smacked by superb performances from some fantastic young actors - go on try it

  • Sorry to say, this isn't as good as the English versions. I can't feel the emotion. I know it may seem biased, with me coming from the UK and all, but of all the versions I've seen, I have to say this comes out middleish. Good try though. :]

  • She gets 0/10 for singing, 0/10 for emotion, I got 0 amount of shivers down my spine which can only mean she didn't do it well!!

  • OH MY GOD!!!!!

THAT SINGING IS AWFUL WHAT CAPITAL A!!!!

and that's not scouse! uck yuck yuck!

  • I think the one at the London phoenix theatre was much better

  • I agree. That one is amazing. Went to see it the other day.

  • oh of course it is but give them a chance lol

  • stef blak is an amazing singer

  • Looked lie a nice production to me. Funny accents aside.

  • the narrator's accent sounds like a bad attempt at Irish but it's supposed to be liverpudlian. Full marks for the singing Mrs.J tho!

  • I think the one playing her in the London production is actually pretty good (though the woman might have changed, but it wasn't that long ago I watched it)

  • ...:( Mrs Johnstone sucks worse than the current actress playing her in the London production, and uh, she sucks.

Also, the narrator is a man :(

  • have some immagination gosh you're boring! who cares if it was a man it's not that important it's a narrator i mean if mr j was a man that woul matter

  • Oh is she allful (the current Mrs. Johnstone?)

  • It's miss Mrs J putting the brothers together, was the best part in the original, besides that, well done :-)

    xxx

  • i think the narrator cudv been better! it was a pretty poor preformance on her behalf!

  • well 'steph19robinson90' its obvious you dont get out much

  • this is the best play ive ever seen in my life

  • I've actually heard drums in a few productions and it turns out well... I havn't heard the drums come in yet in this production.

  • The video was alright, up until the drums came in. What the hell? There were no drums in the actual version, why in this?

  • ...a female narrator.

  • Yeah unusual but I think she's got a good voice.

  • this is a poor performance. especially from the band. the out of tune singing and heartless piano playing was bad enough. but when the drums come in i had to stop the video

  • you my friend have no life picking on Highschool kids i think this is amazing i think you should be a highschool kid learning most of the play by yourself and the music most of our school musicals the band and singers put a lot of dedication into what they do if you knew how much work they did my friend oh boy! sorry that a couple kids aren't broadway like seriously don't get your panties in a bunch

  • OK im 20, so its only been two years since I left wat you would call High School (Im from Northern Ireland, the system is different). I did 2 plays, one junior (kids aged 11-15) and one senior (aged 15-18_ a year for 7 years. None of them were this bad. I do know the didication and work involved. Its still not up to scratch for the age of them!

  • this play is sad

  • Love this play- Did parts of it for drama, i was Linda and the Narrator.

  • i love this musical

  • laugh, thats me on the left covering up samir!, no no the other left!

  • yeah, i guess our director just wasen't feeling that part lol....what can you do i guess.

  • who's that foxy girl singing i want her as my girlfriend lol!!! I love ya stef

  • kk but the boys should be in a v shape and mrs j put the two boys together which is the most emotional part of the song

  • no it isn't, we followed the score, if you look up barbara dickson singing this song...it is just a bit shorter in length...because the narrartor is in ours.

  • yeah it should be much slower

  • Yes she plays the narrator good but I'm also used to the male Narrator. the main difference here is when the boys die they form a V into the centre of the stage and Mrs J during TMINT puts their hands together. TMINT should be slower too.

  • a female narrator that looks really weird im used to a man doing it

  • ahhhh i love that show soooooo much

  • It's class:D, although Mrs JOhnstone's voice doesn't sound right here, I think it's cause she's not lettin the liverpudlian in!

  • THATS ME DEAD ON THE FLOOR!

  • i lovee this musicalllll <3
