This theme made me cry realizing the sacrifices of our fore father and their achievements in world war 2. They were the real heroes who released tyranny and oppression in this world. They were the ones who tried to seize the hunger for world power.

I find it upsetting that soldiers in world war 2 went away to defend us from the germans many of them giving their lives and there are people still giving their lives today and then there are 9 year old kids that think call of duty is just like real life and there is neds everywhere vandalising stuff and youtubers aswell that think some of this stuff is just like CoD I wonder what the WW2 soldiers perspective on modern life is like... I could go on for hours but anyway. Food for thought...

Second World War started in 1939 and end in 1945. USA joined the war in december 1941, then Pearl Harbor were attacked by the Japanes.

England and French joined the war in 1940, so please go read some more about World War 2, before you say anything about the war, thanks!

Band of Brothers is so diffrent compared to The Pacific, in Band of Brothers you see the band that they create and the sadness when they loose someone and there is an actual story in it that really touches me in my heart.

The Pacific is more blood but there are only 3 main people in it and in Band of Brothers almost a whole company!

I preffer Band of Brothers

Interesting you should say that. Many years later, at a reunion, the son of Herbert Sobel gave a speech on behalf of his late father, where he said what a fantastic man he was, and how the series did not portray the man who we saw in it. It took a lot of guts for him to turn up and talk to a room of people who he knew disliked his father. And despite what many thought of him, they are somewhat thanful for the training he gave them.

after we won in the atlantic theatre the general said we might go to the pacific. but they didnt we ended up dropping the two bombs on japan.

There was still a lot of fighting in the pacific before they dropped the bombs. Don't get me wrong, it was wrong to drop bombs but it brought a quick end to the war.
