because they changed her story when they adopted th character to comics. Dr. Sarah Kinney (analogue of Deborah Risman from Evolution) tried to create the clone of Wolverine, but the genetic sample was damaged, and she used her own DNA to fill the gaps. That's why Laura Kinney looks more like her "mother" than like Wolverine,

"Russian" is actually named Omega Red or Acadia(sumthin like that anyway) not "Russian". I made that mistake too bcuz Gauntlet called him russian in this episode. Omega Red is Russian so Gauntlet was simply reffering to that. And he does have a sort of 80-ish look i guess. He's one of my personal favorite characters in the x-men series.

if this was in real life and Omega Red had his original abilities(i.e. being able to hit the broad side of a barn) then Wolverine wuldve had his ass wooped(or it wuld at least be a challenge). This guy was supposed to have gone through extensive fighting classes, be really freakin powerful, and an overall badass, but now he's just weak (4 example @ 3:58 where he just lets Wolvie beat the shit out of him). Its a disgrace. He's still my favorite though.

i love how Logan is so protective of alot of the female characters (Rogue, Kitty, X-23) it shows more of a fatherly side to him^_^ and for the record, i dont think Logan is anything of a 'wuss' in this version of X-Men. what ppl have a hard time understanding (why i dont know) is that this was a kids show. you cant go around showing a guy with knives in his hands carving up ppl like thanksgiving turkeys during saturday morning cartoons. the show would've been canceled even sooner than it was.

not dissing good ol' Wolvie or anybody else' opinions, but some just need to realize that the way we perceive/react to things children is much different than we do now as older people..*

Usually the animation is better.

I do think they, of course, "dumbed it down" for kids, but Wolvie not being a savage killing machine fits. Remember, he's trying to regain his humanity.
