i checked and it sez that the diagnostic tools are loaded into drive E then i enter format C:, it formats then the DOS appears again i ennter E:, i push enter then i enter setup.exe but then , nothing. could you help me? im using an ISO file (Win98_bootdisk.iso) and a diskette image (Windows98.img) what am i doing wrong im following your steps exactly.

usually they are downloads from an web site and when it is saved on the PC with out the disk i is saved as an ISO file or sometimes you copy the ISO disk.

k, idk if u knew this but its not because of ur PC, its because it cant boot from the disk, it runs the floppy (boot disk) and then the floppy uses the disk.

when i downloaded it all the partions were set,all i needed to do is format the c:drive and contimue on.

can anyone tell me a website of where to get a windows 95 boot disk that has windows 95 uninstall info on it??? every website that ive used to download all have problems...i put it into my windows 95 and type uninstal.exe or at the A: prompt uninstal but it says that the windows 95 uninstall info could not be located ...this would be much appreciated if anyone could tell me a good website :)

hold on my bad...i thought it was saying that the uninstall info was not on the floppy disk...it didnt work because i tested it on windows xp instead of a 95 and it uses info from the c: drive

is the file exstension .torrent if so u need torrent programs such as utorrent or bittorent, if its a cd image such as iso or cdi you should burn it to a cd and run on vpc07 or vmware to see if u have torrent program: on XP goto start,search and type something like torrent and see if u find a torrent program on vista goto start and type in startsearch
