You know if you go to a opening to the far right of the dark blade mansion you get to a gun shop with powerful weapons.Next time you try a run it might be better to get powerful weapons earlier instead of sticking to a shotgun constantly.
@666Skaterkyle666 No, no you don't. When you first access the Dark Blade Mansion, the only upgrade for your weapon is the Uzi III SMG. After you beat and bind the Jester Spirit to you, you can buy the HK227 Assault Rifle and once Drake is dead, you can buy the AS7 Assault Cannon.
@iamfanboysstudio Smart move on your part. You haven't been upgrading your Firearm skill so the Uzi III SMG is pretty much worthless, despite how fast you can link shot after shot.

The problem is the timing - if I go out of my way to get a more powerful gun too early, I waste time.
This is a SPEEDrun, not a GEARrun. :D
Besides, all they have at this point is the Uzi III, and I'd rather just wait for the Assault Rifle.

They only have the uzi?? Wtf. I aint even finished dark blade on my current game and they have the assault cannon
