  • I think the little girl wanted to hop in and drive it. ;)

  • the transmission on the 1982-1996 Buick Century

    Transmission

    GM TH-125C 3-speed automatic

    GM 440-T4 4-speed automatic

    GM 4T60-E 4-speed automatic

  • All I can say is...seen one on the road lately? I just sold a 1957 Ford F100. Still running and driving. The 80's was a dismal time for U.S. cars.

  • @davshaw5 I have an '87 estate wagon with 44k miles. Yes, 44 THOUSAND miles. I'm the 3rd owner. Only thing about it is its not registered. Will be here in a couple days though. It sat for 6yrs and all I had to do was throw a battery in it and smack the fuel pump to get it to unlock and start working again and that fucker started right up.

  • I think the '89-'96 Centurys were the best. All the Centurys were solid cars though. I can atest to that to, my parents had an '89, that thing was still running at well over 250K miles. All it needed was a new paint job, we also have an '01 Century with 170K, that's also a solid car.

  • Good looking, well built American autos. I esp like where they streamlined the front styling on these. The best looking of all the A-bodies.

  • This brings back memories... my first car was an '86 2-door... :)

  • lol my dad has that car

  • the 1982-1997 Buick Century was assembled in

    Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

    Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States

    Framingham, Massachusetts, United States

    Tarrytown, New York, United States

    Ramos Arizpe, Mexico

  • That was a great car. Don't understand why Buick discontinued it. Should be back on the market and sold here in Germany, too.

  • my dad had a 95 buick century had to ger rid of it but it was an awesome car i loved it

  • I want one!

  • My mom had a 1994...a great car!!! I would buy it again if i could! miss this old quality and looks

  • These mid-80's Buicks were dubbed the "Shark-nose" design, and all in all they were some of the best selling, and best running cars of that decade. I can attest to it - I had an '86 and I'd buy it all over again, if I could.

  • @RitzyTrailer I just test-drove a brand-new 2011 Buick Regal 4-door, you'd be VERY pleased if you at least checked one out at your closest dealer, my oh my was I impressed!

  • man they came out of the factory, next thing they tell you is go back to a dealership to get it fixed... how gm just nvr change ahaha

  • I had a 1989 Century Limited which looked pretty much like this car. It was a nice car.

  • haha check out my video of one of these flying through the air

  • I was impressed with General Motors restyled the Buick Century in 1982 the Century looked way better than the younger Centurys from the 70s and early 80s the 1982-1995 Centurys are the best restyled centurys for buick

  • @jakesaintsrow123 There good solid cars america should make cars like this again

  • @jakesaintsrow123 didnt buick redesign these type of centurys in 82

  • Comment removed

  • @jakesaintsrow123 Yea but in 1982 General Motors did restyle the Buick Century. so when you compare the years of Buick Century from 1940-2005, you really look at how they changed from over the years. If I had to drive a century I would be probably drive the 80s centurys.

  • Yea! And i would drive a 1980s century to..Particularly 1982-83
