@FlutterDashie Possibly, it was insanely fun to gather the playlist and learn how to mix the songs together. Pinkie Pie's mix here was pretty easy soundwise, I suppose RD's mix would have a song choice reminiscent of Race Like Rainbow Dash: Neurofunk & Techstep. Rarity would be Progressive House but a mix tailored for the other characters, that's where it gets tricky.

@Mastr513 I tried different kinds of software, wanting to do this in real time, but I found out my soundcard doesn't support two different audiostreams, ie: one song going over speakers, one via headphones. So I ended up making mixing everything in Sony Acid, which had its own pros and cons :)

@SmallKittensOnFire Well, the only real dnb Pendulum album is Hold Your Colour, which has some pretty great songs, but the sound is much dirtier than what this mix was going for, which is more liquid-funk. I guess you could say that's why.

@CrizzyEyes Ah, OK. Pendulum does have a kind of high energy style. I do think Hold Your Color would fit quite nicely in here though, it has a more mellow tone than some of the other stuff off that album.

@SmallKittensOnFire It's not so much about the energy level, most of the songs in here are pretty intense as well :p I'm talking about the sound, it's more "filthy" in general than the stuff in this video. The simplest way I can think of to describe a filthy sound is it's closer to sounding like dubstep. "Acid Rain" by DJ Fresh is a dirty dnb song. Anyway, I generally associate filthy basslines with DJ P0N3, I assume Shiropoint has similar reasoning.

Pendulum has a tendency to go full on "screwface", which is awesome but I don't feel it fits the overall mood I wanted or the pony it was inspired by.
