LOL, these are pro bikes. The reliability and performance of stock bikes have no correlation to what happens to factory bikes with pro mechanics and superior parts.

@SeppLainer LOL just shows how little you know then doesnt it, if a company cant make a decent bike for the masses of general public they intend to sell to then throwing money at developing a race bred machine will make no difference. Yamaha's reliability record is crap regardless of them being stock or heavily modified pro bikes, the bike will still have a fair amount of yamaha equipment on it and no amount of ''pro'' machanic work is going to make that good as this vid clearly shows it failed.

Agreed Reed rode a hard race and yea the machine was thoroughly tested BUT these machines are designed for one thing and thats to be raced in one of the hardest championships there is so it makes no difference how hard the bikes are ridden, if they cant make it through the whole race having been ridden as hard as is neccasary then they are obviously crap. Windhams bike was subjected to the same treatment and made it. Honda are clearly better.

@BT667 What i said made perfect sense, Reed was pushing hard at the front and although there was a gap kevin was also pushing his machine. They were both taking the same punishment and the yamaha failed, like the commentators said u can see theres no compression the motor totally failed. At the end of the day u have ur opinion and i have mine so i intend to leave it at that.

Reed got over confident in the last few laps and was doubling more jumps, with over a minute lead on dub he could have brought that bike home safely, with much less revs on the motor.
