Acts 4:12 further supports the fact of the mention of a name. Furthermore, all throughout the book of Acts, the record is clear. Even in the epistles, particularly Colossians 3:17, supports everything being done in Jesus name.

Brother, it's sad that you think they said two different things. Scripture supports scripture, Jesus told the dicieples in Luke 24:47 to preach repentance and remission of sins in His NAME. Do you REALLY believe that the instructions & promises Peter gave at Pentecost (baptism in Jesus' name, etc), were not ordained by Jesus? God knows how to correct something if its not true. In the bible scripture must interpret scripture, what "name" is he talking about?
