ALL of the "loopholes" need to be eliminated and a flat tax of 10% for ALL income over $50,000 should be instituted. No loopholes like the Trusts, Off Shore Banking, none of it. Don't tax the rich more, just take away their fraudulent "get out free" card.

Gibson is a great man who is one of the most honorable people I've ever known. It shames me that there are stupid ignorant people who want to put him down. He is actually trying to make a difference for all of us.
Do the same thing like Grover norquist. Make candidates sign an opposite petition to raise taxes for wealthy and then elect them. Given conservative ideology is against all taxes, how can you expect republican candidates to go against their ideology ?
I want CONGRESSMAN JIM JORDAN of Ohio to be pinned in the same corner but those white bread, mayonnaise eating right-wingers in his home district will never do it. Jordan is a leading voice in Washington, DC for putting more money in the hands of the wealthy in the name of "I believe in tax reform, not raising tax rates." It's a smokescreen, America!
At least these people were allowed to speak to him. Our representative, Larry Buschon, charged $15/per person for his town hall meetings. Sounds to me like Larry didn't want to hear what the poor and unemployed had to say.
Here's someone who will lose his job come election time, unless they use electronic voting in his district. He's going to need some serious election tampering to stay in office.
CONS don't represent their constituents. The MAJORITY of Americans have said raise taxes, they refuse to listen. Their whole goal is to starve the government of revenues so they can privatize what WE, our parents and grandparents PAID for. A DECADE of lost jobs during the shrub administration, the worst job growth since WW II under shrub yet they're still trying to peddle tinkle down, they think people are stupid.
Throw every one of these TEA party assholes into the street and make them live by their own philosophy - no benefits, no health care and no pension. It's what they prescribe for everyone else - they have 67 days of vacation a year. Do you?
Ignore the Ayn Rand Asshole - we have real problems - our middle class has been looted, corporations and hedge fund managers have stolen the country and this half-witted jerk wants us to read "Atlas Shrugged". What a pathetic joke.
I'm tired, as is the rest of the nation, by these abusive, bigoted, homophobic bullies that would otherwise be waring white robes and peeked hoods. They lied and hid in the closet to get elected. They had better hope there is no court of the people, because they will pay dearly for their treason.
GREAT JOB constituents!! You had your facts!! My family's in NY20. Gibson robo-called LIES: said that the Ryan HC Plan "saves Medicare." Had Pat Robertson do the same.My mother's elderly, doesn't hear well, but HIS BS was LOUD AND CLEAR!! Vote him OUT!
@SenseOfRumor You just exposed yourself as an idiot. First, you can criticize government and still use it - it is prohibitively hard not to. I object to war, does that mean I shouldn't use interstate highways? Second, Ron Paul doesn't participate in the Congressional pension plan nor healthcare plan. Remind me what other Congressman does the same? What, you can't? All you have is baseless assertions? Not surprised.
@AynRandFanJG After a lunch speech August 26, 2011 (two days ago), Ron Paul slammed the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, and said that no national response to Hurricane Irene is necessary. “We should be like 1900; we should be like 1940, 1950, 1960,” Paul said. “I live on the gulf coast, we deal with hurricanes all the time. Galveston is in my district." Yes, we should be just like Galveston, circa 1900, when a hurricane killed somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 people.
@SenseOfRumor Are you suggesting that FEMA would have prevented those deaths? Are you under the delusional belief that FEMA prevents hurricanes and disasters?
Ron Paul is also the only one who opposes the wars, supports civil liberties and opposes corporatism. Why don't you attack him on that? Or do you also believe in those forms of government coercion as well?
@AynRandFanJG You sound like a typical uninformed and naive Ron Paul anarchist. FEMA helps organize preparatory and rescue measures. No one can "prevent hurricanes and disasters" - what a fucking stupid argument on your part. FEMA is there to prevent deaths among other things and would have prevented all those deaths in Galveston. Why don't you quit while you're behind? Ron Paul is against government helping people. Like you, he thinks everyone is able to help themselves. It's not true.
@SenseOfRumor I notice that the only points you have are fallacious or ad hominems. The stupid comment was the suggestion that FEMA would have prevented the deaths from the Hurricane that decimated Galvelston, which is what I attributed to you. You are ignorant on the history of Galveston and on the history of FEMA. Ron Paul is against the government hurting people. But you continue to pray to the government that is killing people in six different countries right now.
@AynRandFanJG You said "Are you under the delusional belief that FEMA prevents hurricanes and disasters?" How is my reply "fallacious or ad hominems (sic)". I don't think I'm the "ignorant" one here. Ron Paul opposes war not for moral reasons but for his Galtian philosophy which governs every moronic belief of his and his son. They have no morals just indifference. I oppose war on moral grounds.
@SenseOfRumor Wow, talk about a hit parade. Fallacious means containing a fallacy. Ad hominem is attacking a person in a weak effort to dismiss an argument. If you can't figure out that your posts are made out of fallacies and ad hominems then I can only guess that you don't know the definitions.
Ron Paul opposes war for the very moral reason that he believes in the non-aggression principle. But leave it to a partisan to dismiss that. Which anti-war candidate do you support in 2012?
@AynRandFanJG Ron Paul uses a typical republican tactic to screw up governing as much as possible like Bush and Katrina and then point the finger at "government" as being the problem when in fact it's republican incompetence. The current FEMA under a Democratic president has done very well according to both Democratic AND republican governors. Regarding your fallacy about Paul's anti-war stance, neither morality nor "non-aggression" has anything to do with his Galtian equation.
@SenseOfRumor Putting Ron Paul and George W. Bush in the same sentence shows that you are partisan, and in no way rational. Obama is closer to George W. Bush than Ron Paul is.
Whatever your fantastic beliefs on why Ron Paul is anti-war, the bottom line is that he's the only one who's running who is anti-war, including the warmongering Obama.
Stop being a lackey for the Democrat party. Think for yourself and stop endorsing the murder of civilians.
@AynRandFanJG get run pauls dick out of your mouth and ayn rands fucking dick outta your mouth. Ron Paul and George Bush are both dicks and can go fuck themselves with a republican dick stick and when they finish up you can take your round you stupid son of a bitch.
Another hard right two-faced corporate shill who would sell us down the river for a cush lobbying job after he gets through gifting more tax breaks to corporations. Our political system is bought and paid for but does not represent us. No confidence.
The only reason Ron Paul opposes war is because of the cost. He wants America to think of itself and appeals to the idea of being selfish. To not give a damn about the rest of the world and it's problems because they aren't our problems. He doesn't even believe in treaties. He thinks small.
Kucinich, on the other hand, wants to make war a thing of the past in an interconnected world.
Millerton is my home town. How did this ass-clown ever get into office? Oh.......wait, I know. Democrats stayed home in 2010. I would have voted against this moron if I had still lived there but it's clear that he hasn't a chance in 2012. What's with these teahadists signing oaths? Is America a fascist country now (rhetorical)?
Increases in taxes and pay as you go budgeting gave us a surplus by 2001. The Appointed One blew it on tax cuts and wars we never paid for. We may never recover.
@warcra12 "True LIBERALS aren't very smart down here. The Teaparty people think your fools."
Which raises the question: "Who CARES what they think?"
The Tea Party are a bunch of idiots, the result of thirty years of Right Wing lies. You know, the Right Wing used to be clever. They would craft language to try to sell their ideas to Liberals. They have bought into their own lies. They have repeated "this is a center - right country" so many times they believe it themselves.
These people are rude and aren't using there smarts. If taxes are raised this money will be pissed away. You are damn lucky your congressman is one who stands up for the district and does listen. If I was him I would say screw you all. I will go help the people that have the smarts to at least listen then ask questions and interupt.
You can lie to some of the people some of the time but you can't lie to all of the people all of the time, without being called out! Great job constituents!!!!
