Oh I know, but I didn't know if the other person spoke English. Translator doesn't work well huh? I'm learning French though, so I won't have to use it soon!
BB and Curlin would be a great race. I saw Big Brown in real life at the Preakness and he just fantastic. I don't think he's really gotten to prove himself yet. I've heard he's an excellent turf horse, it'd be cool to see if they could get him to France.
Now there, I totally agree. I'm firmly in the school of thought that Curlin is one of the all-time greats just waiting to prove it, but Big Brown in the Arc would certainly add a measure of intrigue and an even higher hurdle for either horse to overcome. Having said that, it's unlikely to happen, considering BB's connections. Can you honestly see IEAH and Dutrow sending him to the Arc? I can't. And that makes me sad.
I agree, while I'm sure even they would like to show off just how good BB really is, I doubt they'd try to take that risk. I mean, there's a good reason behind it, but horse racing is kind of about overcoming risks and challenges in a sense.
i was lucky enough to get to see curlin live at churchill in the stephen foster and he is so gorgeous in real life. he just has something about him where he really does seem like a king. i'm so glad he's around as a 4 year old. what a champ! thanks for making this for the new big red. =]
Looks like The Big Guy's next race will be July 12th, in the Arlington Handicap here in Chicago. If so, look for me down on the rail, cheering wildly! Then probably The Arlington Million in August (on national TV!).
Then it's off to conquer the world. No horse has ever done what Curlin is going to do in 2008! Win THE WORLD TRIPLE CROWN! (Dubai, Paris, and Japan - on both dirt and turf!).
Sorry, but this year the Breeder's Cup Classic is the consolation race.
Another reason to avoid the BC is that Santa Anita has had a disaster with their new artificial surface. This summer they're going to rip it out and install a new one.
And then host the BC in October??
Curlin's trainer, Steve Asmussen, is rightly cautious about running The Big Guy on an unproven surface.
So Curlin looks like he's headed for Paris, to compete in the Arc de Triomphe, a turf race no American horse has ever won.
Great video,I hope Curlin comes back for the Breeders Cup Classic. He will be the next back to back winner of the classic. I will be looking foward to seeing more of your edited videos. Great Job!!
Robby barely even bounces when he rides Curlin...either he's a really good rider, Curlins got an absolutely amazing stride, or both (it's both).

It's completely true... I didn't really notice how little he moves until I started noticing how much everybody else moves in comparison.

You can write in English, you know. It's probably easier than using a translator.

mais que pourra faire Curlin face a ZARKAVA dans l'arc?

C'est triste, mais on ne le saura jamais. Curlin n'est plus en considération pour l'Arc de Triomphe. :(

That was great! The only thing I would've added was a bit of the racing calls. I LOVED the Breeder's Cup call!

You're ridiculously lucky. Cheer the big boy on!!

Yep! Curlin has the heart of a champion. Loved the vid and loved the comment about Big Brown! What's the story in Saratoga?
