Liquid makeup sucks!!!! It feels oily and heavy on my skin. Even if I use makeup for oily skin. If you are very fair (like I am) it's hard to find a good shade that doesn't look streaky or that doesn't end up changing color after a few hours. I switched to mineral makeup and will never go back. Makes wearing makeup fun.

My True Match foundation doesn't have any shimmer in it and I don't think any of them do. It just doesn't have a matte finish. More of a semi matte so a little bit of shine.

if it had like a gold shimmer, it may be because you were using the "warm" version of it. warm is for people with gold undertones, so it can bring out your natural tones. if you have a different undertone, try another version. like the "cool" one

To me I love true match but some people say they dont like it I think its great I use the liquid,the powder an the finishing veil,all by loreal depending on what look I'm going for to me it works better than Revlon if you want I can post a vid of different ways I apply my foundation there are many different ways without breaking the bank and yes I like it better than MAC
