The bigger our government gets, the easier it is to threaten /buy off leaders. It keeps giving them more power and taxes over our lives. Corruption grows. Doesn't matter if their Dems or Reps. You have it backwards...fascism is government running businesses. The fact that some businessmen WANT the government to "help" them does not change the fact that it is GOVERNMENT which passes the laws, changes the laws, enforces the laws. If government were truly held in check then fascism and socialism would be held in check. Businesses are doing the same thing that welfare mothers do...try to get the government to "help" them.
